The caps are used to close an opened bottle. The detents on the opener are shaped like the top of a glass bottle.
I remember using the plastic caps to save the fizz in my soda bottles.
It's pronounced "Can Opener" not "canopener".
Just another annoying mispronunciation from the robo- voice! I enjoy these videos but hate listening to them - but that’s the only way to learn about the objects!
@@sandybruce9092 My comment was removed. I tried to inform you where these posts in the video come from. Some call it the homepage of the internet, begins with "R".
Metal caps on 16 Oz glass soda bottles can't easily be put back on, these are replacements
The bottle opened can also be used as a bottle cap.
You just press the handle down on the bottle to reseal it.
The covers are to keep the sealing surface clean.
I think this is a bottle opener with cap replacements for carbonated drinks . These caps are to keep your beverage carbonated in the refrigerator to drink later.
Yep, I think you are totally right.
Ya me !
The last was a bottle opener with two caps to put on a bottle of unfinished drink. Then we you are through with the drink put cap back on the opener.
As an electrician i came across those clock outlets, i even used a couple in my old house on the mantleshelf for a couple of lights, compact enough to hide.
Fun fact, i still use a digital clock that takes it's time reference from the mains (though it doesn't use those outlets) , it is very accurate comparing with my modern clocks.
I thought last item was if you are driving and have a beer, you put it in the green then 2nd beer goes in the red.
As in stop don’t drive u filled your two places for caps.
Other answers seem logical though
Someone got the Franklin mint set and sold off the silver it looks like
Canopener. 😅😅😅😂😂😂
The British MK fused outlet is for a1950's electric clock. they were often found above the fireplace mantlepiece or a kitchen doorway. The clock was synchronised by the 50 Hertz AC waveform of the 250 V AC power supply. The AC signal frequency was often adjusted overnight, so the clock maintained good time.
Last item: after opening bottle use plastic for caps for unused beverage.
1:00 : is not a coaster. Already since it does not have a wooden or felt sliding bottom like the coaster shown.
It seems to be missing an insert, made of glass or earthenware. So most likely a piece of tableware.
First item is very valuable here in the states. It's unobtainium really.
Let me elaborate. The Colt Patterson was one of Samuel Colts first revolvers that made a profit. Not a large number were made, most have long since vanished or are in pretty bad condition now. I'm talking like, these were made in the 1840 or so era.
If that loading tool is in pristine condition, which it looks close to, it's a find.
If this is the case, it needs to be in a firearms museum. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that only a handful of original loading tools exist.
The key is: is it an original or a modern reproduction?
@@dustytables3638 Possibly a replica ! Can be purchased from Black Powder specialist shops.
The boxes on lawns… In Nova Scotia they use them as well.
I live in the South (NC) and have never seen those boxes! Nit sure the explanation is correct???
@@sandybruce9092 They didn’t say where in the southern US so maybe just not your part?
I know they have them in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and that’s what they’re used for.
They appear to be a Maritimes thing in Canada so maybe it’s more in the coastal communities in the US. They’re pretty ubiquitous in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and (possibly) Prince Edward Island I just discovered. They call them “octagonal garbage boxes” or “six-sided garbage boxes” or just “wooden garbage boxes”. They often make them from wooden pallets. Some people put their street number in decorative letters on the end of them and they sit at the end of the driveway. Some are decorated though most are plane wood.
The shape keeps them from being blown away and usually there are spaces between the planks to prevent them from getting stinky.
😎 ✌️
Michael Jackson's original nose
Fill it with water and freeze for your cooler of soda bottle
The AI voice is the most annoying thing since Joe Biden. If you're going to insist on using it, at least teach it proper grammar. This channel was interesting at first but that stupid voiceover tears it. Why is it so difficult for people to just use their own voice and talk like you're supposed to?
