I'm currently going into my first college semester. Working to become a biochemist. Aiming towards a PhD. Also working on a book which hopefully leads to more because I have a passion for writing. These things would improve my future and I would be so happy after they pulled through. Excited to be working on these. Wanting to start a hobby that will help me get more exercise because I don't need to lose any weight but I do have cholesterol issues and eat stuff that's usually sugary. So maybe if I excercise more I can eat what I like by working off the fat cells in my arteries. Maybe I'll learn self- defense or do ballet because I've been meaning to look into that. Or both. I think that the key to achieving my goals is to have good time management. Working on my school and book during the week and excercises on the weekend. Probably pacing my breaks between excercises with water and a good book.
She has many in her earlier videos. If you are thinking specifically of women going to grad school, I’ll do a little bit of self-promotion here: www.productivephdninja.com has a bunch of grad-specific posts. :)
I just got my real estate salesperson license. I'm already a business owner, but this is another way that I'm working to change lives in 2020 and beyond.
My goal has been to launch my proofreading business so I can use my skills and do what I love. And I officially did it... LAST WEEK!! I could not be more excited (even though I know there's still a lot of work ahead). I owe a lot of my inspiration and motivation to these videos. Your content has been invaluable! It helped me build my confidence and know that I wasn't STUCK in my old job and that change was possible! Thank you Amy!
Top thing I did in 2020: finished computer science degree and started programming job. Started saving for retirement, got in the stock market (finally), and started plans for my business! Yes, I might sound ahead in life, but I have tons of bills and I am a total noob when it comes to my field and starting my own trade! [feeling overwhelmed and need all the help I can get!]
Thanks a lot Amy! This video has a perfect timing for me! Former teacher, moved to a foreign country, starting over, from scratch, knowing 0 about fashion industry, but being extremely grateful for your guidance!
QOTD: working toward being more focused on the work that has to be done instead of having so many irons in the fire that I can't focus. Thanks for the inspiration! Kay
Can you make a video about ways to be productive after work (after 5pm) I feel like I’m wasting a lot of hours because I think I should relax after work instead of focusing on other part of my life besides my 9-5 job! Thanks!
Love your channel, and it really helped me as I am transitioning from a career to multiple personally owned businesses with my husband. Keep the positive vibes coming!
Great video! I'm actually attending online classes on coursera to learn more about business and entrepreneurship, while also going to college to learn about art and literature; my goal is to acquire new skills to then finish my masters in a business school! Love from France
I am working on my self-publishing business, while writing my books. Also, working on creating a second business of crocheting. Thank you so much for the tips.
I have 2 part time Jobs until my business can support itself. I enjoy your videos for inspiration. What I'm wanting to do is to stop just watching the videos and business tips and start doing them! Only this will help my business move forward.
Loved this video... very apt because I went into the office for the first time yesterday in 5 months. As part of my journey to build my morning routine, I am also looking for ways to improve how I connect with myself and others. Thanks Amy and team xxxx
I'm working towards a career shift! I want to get more into digital content creation and branding and less into reporting. So I'm saving up to get the gear to up my content creation game!
Love your videos Amy and they truly inspired me! I’m an elementary school teacher and was a little over my head with technology in the springtime and all the new things I was learning on the fly. So this summer I got some blue light glasses and and took classes to become a Google Educator and went through a Zoom academy. Add it to the resume✅ watch out school year 2020-2021! Thanks for all you do!
We have to make the best of quarantine and our new reality... and what better way than to improve your career and personal life. Make the most of it and you'll definitely see a lot of improvements. Good luck :)
Thanks for another brilliant pep talk, Amy. =) Watching your videos and listening to your podcasts really helps. Trying so hard at the moment to go after the life I want despite all the 2020 pandemic obstacles. Thank you for everything you do. Stay awesome, girl! ;-)
I know its hard especially the times we are going through but it just gives us extra time to accomplish the things we either got distracted from doing or putting on the back burner or were "too busy for" before this pandemic. Keep your head up and go after the life you want :) You got this!
@@lizzie_scribhneoir7 Yes doing my best :) One of my goals that I've made a lot of time for is my youtube channel and even though its slow progress, its still progress
When you said "especially here in the U.S." I am curious what countries' economies you were comparing our economy with? Would love to know what economies are doing better.
@@alcl592 I worked to “brainwash” myself on all of the negative aspects. Do a search for “Jaron Lanier Fixes the Internet” - this video was the most effective. He also has a book I read about why you should delete your accounts immediately. I kept RUclips as my lone platform, because it pays its creators and has a number of beneficial aspects for obtaining educational and entertaining videos. Plus, I love to create on it too. That is also a big thing that was effective for me- it wasn’t a break. It was, “I’m done with this, because it causes more harm for me personally, than good.” I saved all of my memories and contact information for those I want to keep in touch with through other means and was done.
Wow, thank you so much, I'm gonna check it out!! I'd have to discipline myself to get off of the media. It also wastes my time .. mindless scrolling you know .. 😶

Great video. I'm working to build my photography business again. I worked on it about 3 years ago but didn't do so well. So hopefully year will the year. I'm also working on my certification for IT. I also enjoy working computers so that's my plan for 2020 going into 2021.
Thank you Amy. The domain information was helpful. I've been searching online to find out where is the best place to purchase a domain. There's so many things to think about and inquire. What's your recommendation for a good host site for a beginning blog or business?
I finally made a whole new website for my writing! I have one for music but decided to separate them but link the two together. I wasn't sure at first if they needed to be separate or not. How do you figure that out when you have multiple business things going on? Does it always have to have a separate platform? That was my question over the weekend. My parents didn't even know and they work online too. I love your videos Amy! :)

Amy have you ever thought about a series that would target young women heading to college helping them to stay focus and on track.
