The 3 parts to this trip have been excellent, probably the longest time I've spent cringing at the punishment the trucks have been taking. Not seen a Land Rover tailshaft let go like that unless there's already a problem with the yoke or the UJ, I've seen pinions shear on the diff and the tailshaft unmarked when racing. From experience Gwyn Lewis manufacture some nice heavy duty tailshafts but I'm not sure if they ship from UK to OZ. Looking forward to the next one👌
I agree with Angus. I didn't have a locker in the 200 for years. I finally spent the $$$ on a TJM air locker and it is one of the best investments I have made. How are you finding the crawlers gears Mark? Another great video lads.
Really good quality footage. Love the variety of vehicles. Great looking trucks Defenders, but that Patrol's the daddy😊

Great Teamwork, guys. Tough track with minimal damage. Looking forward to the next episode.

Jim
Far out guys! Tough situation but hanging for the next ep! Another great production 👌👏👏
This whole series is seriously awesome - so much so I had to put my new Sidetracked tshirt on to watch it!
Loving the episodes, that looks like it is a tough slog!
Nice work guys. That yoke really peeled out 😅
Some 1350 strange unis as an upgrade might be worthwhile. Gj drivelines will sort you out with the best of the best
Interesting to see what happens next.

Cool area, nice footage😊 👍🏼But I'm really surprised, that it only cost one tailshaft in that cruel area.😅
Oh shit! Wot happens next!...quick!
Should look into a Ashcroft under drive for the defender
Dang, i was expecting it to be the one with the reduction gears....they usually put extra load on other components.
I now thinking this route is not for your average punter. Once it gets chewed up in the critical spots, it will be impassable.
Thats a proper shit joke of a track!
