Making Assassin's Creed Origins Bayek's Leather Vambrace / Gauntlet - Leatherwork

  • I wanted to make Bayek's vambrace since I started the game Assassin's Creed Origins last christmas. I finished the game two weeks ago, so it was time to make it.
    I used 4 and 8 oz vegetable tanned leather and acrylic paint for this build. If you have any question, don't hesitate to leave a comment and ask.

      Thanks a lot. Yes it is. It's much easier this way to shape the wet leather and let it dry :)

      Thank you very much.I burn the wax around the thread to melt it, close the holes and make it stronger. Plus it burns the excess thread fibers. Thanks a lot for watching.

      It's a japanese leather glue called Saibinol.

    For red and blue decoration - I think it supposed to be coloured leather ribbon inserted into yhe cut holes.

      That's what I thought at first too, but it's not, according to the Bayek - Dawn of the creed figurine, it's clearly decoration onto the leather.

      I used 1.6 and 3.2mm thick vegetable tanned leather. Thanks for watching
