Awesome project! When I've used paint on leather projects, I usually go heavy on the antique gel afterwards. Gets into those beveled places and adds dimension back to your work. Or you could paint a light wash into them and wipe off. Love the lace stitching!
Sure, I could have done that, but that's bnot how the quiver looked in the game and I wanted to stay as close as possible to how it looked. Thanks for watching mate!
Magnifique Gérald ! 👍 Je pense que le passant avant du carquois devrait être un peu plus court que celui de l'arrière ce qui éviterait aux flèches de tomber en marchant.
Any advice. I use silver leather paint but the dye colour (dark brown) seeps through and yellows the silver. Was there anything you did to prevent this?
Yes, sorry, I totally forgot about it as I was busy with the new video :) Could you send me an email to theredsmith@hotmail.com so I can send you a quote?
Love the way the silver shines on the quiver. Excellent work, my friend.
Thanks mate! Much appreciated. It was worth giving it another try with a new paint😊
Nice quiver Red. The hand lacing was a nice touch. The hand tooling is the coolest most time consuming part of the work and the result is amazing
Thanks a lot Guy. I really appreciate your kind words!
I always enjoy these recreations of yours. Attention to detail makes all the difference. Final product is magnificent! Thanks for sharing!

Always cool to see these transformations from the screen to the real world! Nice work.
Thanks a lot Dave. Especially when it works in the end, which never a certitude with video game inspired items :)
Great film. Quiver is awesome, so much effort. My fingers ache just watching. : ) The shop looks fantastic, so organized. Mahalo for sharing! : )

Let your leather dry, apply two coats, use good quality paint
