The time thing is a cool idea. I used to hold my tics in for as long as possible after I woke up (at which time I wouldn't have any tics until the first one came along, usually 5 minutes if I wasn't trying) and it helped make the day start right.
That’s good to hear bro, I agree with holding it in when you wake up, it does help to make the day start right, plus I feel so much more relaxed and happier if I manage to hold it in for longer
