The People of Washington State desperately need a governor that _clearly_ communicates what _needs_ to be done, _how_ it is to be done, and gives inspiration to _everyone_ that it _can_ be done. The former sheriff is not that person. He's better suited as a cure for insomnia.
This shouldn't be so difficult. Look to the (few) State governors with incredible approval and find a candidate that is capable of insightfully understanding and modeling their roads to success. Is leadership talent really that hard to find? Apparently, it is.
