However, as a father of daughters, I am not willing to settle for Trump given his statements about grabbing women (you know where). If that happened in your place of business, would HR be called? Character matters. That’s why Trump will lose. Dave R might lose as well, but not for lack of character.

My husband and I both voted for Dave Reichert. Most things I agree with such as giving the tools to police officers to do their jobs, if you do the crime do the time and not let criminals back on the street until they’ve done their time. Repeat murders should never be back allowed on the streets! Thats insane!!! His plan on homelessness is common sense- protect the women and children against their abusers, help our veterans and help them to help themselves be productive members of society. He’s right that Bob Ferguson throwing a 100k doesn’t solve issues. Matter in fact the same tactic has been done for years and the homelessness and crime skyrocketed…go figure!
Last thing I will mention, which is huge because I believe people want their voices heard…so I’m going to shout it in caps: WE NEED FAIR ELECTIONS!!!!

I seriously wish the best for him. He’s not the best, but miles better than other candidates. Seattle quickly became problematic under Inslee and Ferguson, had solved zero problems and now we have young generations that could potentially have a much dire future than todays.
Why ask him about the convention? He did not even show up! It was honest! We the people spoke up and our voices were heard. RINO Reich had about 1 % of support out of the almost 2000 delegates and visitors that was there. The Republican party is stronger than ever before in WA state.

I hope dave wins, he seems level headed and a actual centrists, he even lives in central Washington lol. I am frim Spokane and most of us feel like we are not even part of the state most of the time. Seattle gets all the nice schools, transit projects and funding and we basically have to fund our own stuff, its not fair I understand the population difference and all but there will probably be almost a million people in our metro by 2070 so we better put the infrastructure in now rather than later.
I'm in King County and my vote doesn't even count since I am a conservative voter.

It would be interesting for a local news media outlet to ask a candidate how they will fix the situation with the county executive meeting with the president and ruling the state by proxy.
I grew up in the Seattle area, and I've lived in College Park Florida for 9 years. I have the opportunity to right now to move back, but Seattle sucks. I'm going to visit soon, but I would never live there the way it is now.

During the era of the Green River Killer there DNA was in its infancy and many other crime fighting advances didn’t exist to solve that case besides he was not the only one working that case. Dave Reichert doesn’t seem MAGA because he isn’t. He represents a more moderate, pragmatic wing of the Republican Party that many feel is essential for balanced governance. Running as an Independent could be an option, but by sticking with the GOP, he aims to bring about the change many of us want to see from within. His track record shows he’s about practical solutions and bipartisan cooperation. Even if you’re a solid down-ticket Democrat, having someone like him in office could be beneficial for everyone in Washington.

Semi Bird doesn't have a chance in hell against Bob Ferguson. Conservatives, especially the MAGA crowd, are greatly outnumbered in this state. If you cannot court the crossover votes of Dems unhappy with Inslee/Ferguson, Moderates, and Independents in King/Pierce/Snohomish Counties, you virtually have no chance of winning a statewide seat. In King County alone, you are screwed if you can't get the minimum 40% of the King County vote. The Puget Sound Metro Region of Western Washington controls the political landscape, not Eastern Washington. It has been this way as far back as I can remember when I started voting in the late 1970s. Reichert has the name recognition, longtime King County experience, and federal congressional experience. Reichert is a moderate politician who is also a skilled negotiator/leader due to his LE background, and he's able to look at all sides of the picture. Reichert is the guy who can take Ferguson down. And Ferguson knows it. This election is too crucial to be stuck in political purity tests. The goal must be to block Ferguson from becoming governor because Ferguson will be way worse than Inslee. We must get a solid candidate who can court the crossover votes. And that candidate is Dave Reichert.

I disagree. We know affordable housing is apart of the homelessness problem but it’s not the only contributing factor. Seattle put a pledge to end homelessness in 10 years back in 2005 by 2015. Now it’s worse than ever. That’s ineffective leadership. The dems run Seattle and Washington state. You know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.Keep voting the far left in and you will get the same results we always have.

I get your commitment to voting blue, but it’s worth considering how one-party rule can lead to issues, even within the Democratic Party. For example, Democratic candidate El’ona Kearney has spoken out about being bullied out of the gubernatorial race to direct votes toward Bob Ferguson. This shows corrupt internal party dynamics that is concerning.
Dave Reichert offers a moderate, pragmatic alternative within the Republican Party, focusing on balanced, sensible governance. Supporting a candidate like him can help bring forth a more balanced government and prevent any single party from becoming too dominant leading to a one-party state.
Single party rule is guaranteed corruption. No credible threat of being voted out just allows them to run wild and they all cover for each others graft.
Even two party dominence allows too much of that. (We really need a rated or ranked voting system in WA to eliminate the lesser of 2 evils trap.)
