I see you found a neat location on the eastern side of the tracks of where Elvira use to stand. Looks like a great location after the trolley extension has wiped out the S curve south of Elvira. The trains now go faster through the area as it’s now more straightened. Though I would say it’s best going during the morning when the sun’s on the right side.

Yea morning is definitely the better time to go, I was already in the area on the mountain bike, so I figured why not film one or two!?!

How rare are freight trains through San Diego? Ive never seen one there before
Not rare at all... usually up to 4 a day Mon-Fri. Seeing them in daylight ,however, that's harder to achieve
