After so many years of watching you demonstrate lining your lips from the outer corners toward the cupid's bow, I finally tried it and it does make a subtle yet noticeable difference! I'm going to practice getting out of the habit of starting at the cupid's bow because even though I used my typical lip combo, it looks better applied this way .Thanks, Lisa.
Thanks for this reminder. I immediately went to the bathroom and put on some lipstick with lip liner. You know it makes a world of difference. It gives completely new life to lipsticks that are not my favorites. They’re looking pretty good

The thing is...if you don't have big lips then lip liner can cover the whole of your lip! Plus over lining can look awful 😖 sometimes we don't always want our lips to be the main focus and its nice to have a natural lip with a more noticeable eye x

I am definitely a lipstick lip liner girly as well, of course all the colors look fabulous on you but when you put on the Lolita liner with the sundeago gloss your whole face lit up that’s definitely your combo!
I don’t wear a lot of gloss partially due to my line of work but I’ve always been a lip liner girl! I especially love it blended down as a lipstick. Super long wearing and doesn’t transfer. My fav formula is the Mac pencils. Drug store competition for the Mac is the Milani. Those are my go to. Check out Milani #4

Totally Toffee doesn’t work for me it’s a beautiful shade but it’s not a wood pencil and I find it melts and gets sloppy can’t wait to finally try Lancôme ideal 💋

Just today, I'm telling you in front of God, was the first time I ever liked lip liner on me!!!!!💝😍I realized I have neglected to keep my pencils sharp and have not gotten the right colors for me. I used your suggestion of Matte's It/L'Oreal with Mac/Bombshell and I was in love!!!!💋💄Not sure if you'd approve of that combo but I loved it.
I can see what your saying, but I feel like the brown lip liner looks like a chocolate milk line, like when kids drink chocolate milk and it leaves that brown around the lips.

I have used the clear since the first time you showed us I love it too! It’s so good at night it does definitely stay on and keeps your lips hydrated love it more than any mask or other product as well including the high end ones! I like Sun Diego in the summer and still use Celeste the majority of the time! Bronzelle and Ideal are my favorites! 💋

I love lip liners! I cannot wear my lipstick/gloss without them either. I have been using either the Loreal Mattestermind that you recommended or Wet'n'Wild "Lay down the Mauves" it is a very good lipliner for under $3.00. I have found that it lasts pretty good and you cannot beat the price.

I have to wear lip liner as my lips are thin so yes, draw the line above or below the lips and wear gloss. Ideal by Lancome I've had for years and totally agree it's the best and lasts super long. Will need to order some City Lips again

There are new ways of doing this with 2 diff colours i diff places and useing highlighter powder, looks more natural to ones lips shapes, like you go where they less visable, and shipping where they don't need it, more sculptural way of useing make up, also useing very similar shades like deeper and lighter and putting lip gloss only where you like light hits.❤

I must be a weenie. I tried City Beauty glosses because another Yt'r said they didn't sting/burn (and she is very particular); I bought one and couldn't handle it. Maybe it's the numbing you're talking about. They are really pretty, but I just stay away from plumping glosses unless they use hyaluronic acid for plumping. 100% agree with you on lip pencils!

I would love to find a lipliner that lasts more than an hour or so. I’ve tried just about everyone in Sephora and they all wipe off so easily! Looking at lip stains now and using that as a lip liner but haven’t found a good one yet.

Hi Lisa you and I love lancome lipliners but unfortunately most are discontinued. I called them directly . I think only 3 are not . No one had them I found some luck at QVC.
