I just love your honesty. Thank you for your vulnerable post. It's important we are all real with each other. We all struggle with hard days. Do what you can with what you've got! That's what I say to myself. And it's similar to what you were saying about doing the little things that you can control. Do things that just help you feel better and push thru the tough moment.
Even when I was in the hospital and super 😷 sick I would still find the energy to do my hair and 💄 makeup. The Nurses thought I was crazy when I broke out my huge makeup bag 😜 We ended up sharing makeup tips I swear it helped in my recovery!!! 🤷😜

Lisa, I have been with you forever, love your videos. I have been a stylist for 35 years. One great tip to a good blowout is .. section hair from top of ears and pin the top part out of the way. Start the process on bottom section of hair first. Then drop down second section. Then the final top section. Once you have completed the section , don't re brush it. Section by section it the key, also keep air blowing in a downward direction. Hope I didn't confuse you😋good luck
Yay! I did that, one problem I have is when I get to the top, it’s hard not to pick up the hair you have already done! But I feel good about it, what products do you like that has some “hold” and what is your favorite dry shampoo that actually cleans for that last day before I wash?! Lol, thank you!! 🥰😘

Hey Melissa! I wish it gave the exact date, but I watched it back and I think this was half way thru my weight loss, so I was probably about 10 lbs heavier here, and I had liner on my lower waterline, brows darker and younger! Thank you for watching, I enjoyed that! 🥰 Lisa

I like the lip combo on you that you settled with. I have a hard time with that color but I love it. The eye liner and lashes maybe are key. Keep making those little memories with your pup at this time. I promise you that’s how you will get through the grief.

I have a fairly pronounced Cupid’s bow. When slightly over lining do you recommend following the Cupid’s bow or lining straight across? I’ve seen women go over it so that the top lip looks more flat but I’m on the fence about how that looks. What do you think? Thx.

Try to get a boat round brush with wooden handle. Keep in mind that any brush with a metal, ceramic or tourmaline base work well to straighten because they seriously attract heat. So just don’t do it often as it’s literally like flat ironing with a high temp.
