Move the weights on the Mizuno and see the difference in results I think you'll be surprised you started your test in the most forgiving setting these drivers are meant to be aggressive. If need be you can always resort to going to the rear of the driver no one's buying these drivers to start in the rear. Would've been different results with the Mizuno had the weights been side-by-side in the middle to start with which would've been fair for a comparison value. If Titleist doesn't have the adjustments to bad don't penalize the other driver in a comparison.

I'm going for the STG .looking to upgrade my ST180. Really like the deep face and the adjustability should help with my high spin. A video looking at their shaft options would be great.

At the beginning of 2021 I tested all brands to see if another driver could replace my TS3. At the end of the fitting the TSI3 with the graphite design tour AD XC shaft (for me) outperformed all others...including my own TS3. Had a very bad swing day that day and my driver went all over the driving range but when I switched to the TSI3 with the graphite design XC shaft my drives went straight(er) and tight dispersion. Great feel , a little bit longer than the TS3 but more important tighter dispersion and more fairways. Love that combo and cannot see this one leaving my bag in 2022. But I could easily play a well fitted Mizuno driver these days and that was not the case a few years ago.

love the club face speed on the TSI 3 ,, swing speed idk 1 mph faster from The G ,, looked like The TSI 3 was longer and better pattern,, but for a low teen HC with mid 90s swing speed I have to go with the Mizuno for Fitting purposes!! love to see review on this TSI 3 and the Callaway speed LS low spinners !! Thanks Mike always the best reviews/ channel !!

Job well done, Sir! I'm definitely torn between these two. The ability of the ST to change spin certainly puts it ahead of the beauty that is the TSI. My question; What are your thoughts between the TSI2 and the St-Z 220? Looking for my pops...

Why not buy a Srixon ZX-5 or ZX-7?
Michael was hitting those drivers 340 yards on the roll with much tighter dispersion.
I'm going ZX-7 for the looks from 2nd swing with a Ventus Red shaft 45.5 inches.
    Maybe a jumbo grip?

100% agreed had mine 6 week and changed to tsi2 but just spun too much for me. Recently bagged the sim 2 max after another thorough fitting and I have to say I've now bagged the best driver for forgiveness and distance I have ever gamed. It's in the 10.5* head with the ust proforce 6f4 stiff shaft at 45.25 playing length.

@@darrenbell7985 ive thought of this as an option, but being i live in Australia, our lockdowns are harsh, so for last 4months haven't been able to try a Sim. Why the max and not the standard sim, what were your findings? After tsi3 i went to speedzone, sold that just due to the sound alone (looks were boss) and now I play g410plus which I LOVE the feel & sound & look, tbh the face is firmer but i like that. You never feel like a hollow empty soup can when you hit it out of the toe, which is another big bonus. I am 5"6 but well built, I use hzrdus smoke green small batch at 44" and have had the best control ever! Played 36holes last week and only missed 1 fairway with my driver which came on the 36th haha so shorter shaft and g410 are winners but I know it's spins more than it should. But sound, feel, forgiveness in one package is hard.

    • @darrenbell7985
      @darrenbell7985 2 года назад

@@georgyboi6969 for me the standard sim spun too low and I'm talking in the 1800 / 1900 range and I only swing around 97 mph so distance was down. Went to the sim 2 max and spin popped up to 2200 / 2300 with more carry and a tighter dispersion so a real winner there. I just can't get on with ping drivers had the g410 plus but it just spun up too much and as you said was a very firm hit off the face which I just don't like. I go for the softer feeling face usually like Titleist or Tmade and personally the first thing I go for on a driver is looks and in my opinion they don't look any nicer than the sim drivers

I actually don't care for that blunt carbon line look on the Mizuno. If the top was all black, they'd really have something, but it's kinda ugly next to TSi3, but being fair, everything looks kinda ugly next to the TSi3...

Titliest looks best hand down, but the crown gets scuffed so easily!! Every TSI3 I see for resale has a terrible looking top, the bottom gets scratched easily as well. The San Francisco area has a lot of sand in the turf but the finish on the driver is crap. Theres gotta be a spray or 2nd cover layer to prevent this. Maybe in 2023...

@@tinhatrancher904 Well for 1 the titliest has the classic pop feeling off the face, always had the feel since the 975D. The Srixon has a sharp ting sound that produces a totally different feel. I've shot 7 under 65, a course record at Callippe Preserve, and have won on the Pepsi tour, so maybe we have different feels but thanks for the suggestion. I do like the Srixon, but not for the price of a Ping or Callaway driver. New Srixon irons feel amazing, its a new line of feel that you have to hit to understand. Rivals the legendary mizuno feel, possibly better.

I was suggesting the Srixon driver as a value used club. I've seen them at $300 on 2nd swing. Never hit one.
Course a guy could get a brand new PXG driver for $299 now. Don't know the feel of those though...but what a deal compared to Titalist/Ping etc.
My favorite driver for feel/dispersion and distance so far is a Taylormade M2. Love it.

Touche' and thank you Sir. Srixon is gaining a better rep every year. PXG is is a solid too.. It's hard to fault any company with a proper fitting. These 46" shafts are some of the biggest issues, people hit more fairways when the standard was 44 3/4 inch, and the rare 45". People were hitting the ball more solid with better launch, now guys are trying to swing a wet noodle 120mph and its a mess. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New year, and Happy Hanukkah. 2022, expect to make an ace! I've found that it happens way more often when u plan on it goin in..

the TSi3 is at least 20 yards longer. I've been playing Mizuno irons since 1990 but the woods, although absolutely beautiful, are not worth the savings. Found a brand new driver, 3 wood and 5 wood with Tensai Blue and am slpittling fairways WAY past my buddies.
