Just ordered it. Tested it and distance and dispersion has never been better. A beautiful driver that performed very well for me when testing. Let’s hope it perform as well on the course. 🤪
I just ordered a PXG a Gen 4 0811 X driver with 45" shaft in part from remembering your past videos comparing driver shaft lengths whereby you were both longer and more consistent with a shorter shaft. This Mizuno is certainly a good looking driver with all the adjustment you could wish for - maybe so much it may prove confusing to some.
Good review, as always. From your results and those by other testers, this driver looks likely to be a very serious contender for both highly skilled players and average amateurs.
Really enjoy the videos Mike, amazing to me how Mizuno cannot get drivers to compete, you get more carry and total distance out of every other brand Mizuno drivers have no juice
Nice Mike, love that glossy look with that pattern in the back,, love all the different options, not sure for myself low teens HC high 90s swing speed but beautiful product!! The price on the ZandX were very fair so good for them !! Thanks again Mike love your reviews !
Good looking driver. The sound (inside your hitting bay) is reminiscent of my old persimmon 1 wood. Does it sound the same outside? It would have been better if, at the time of the non-adjustable models release, Mizuno had let us know this model was coming.
Like the shaping, but I wish it wasn’t such an abrupt change from the black into the carbon weave. I prefer the way Callaway do it with more of a blend from the black on top. But other than that it looks & sounds brilliant. Is it going to be higher priced than ST-Z with all the adjustability?
I have the STZ and love IT. Any Driver Will look good un you hand with your buttery swing. One of my Friend has a Mizuno 900 forged irons to sell. For a 15-18 handicaps, ils IT good ?
Great video again Mike. Just a question please. I always buy a 10.5 degree. driver and lower the loft if required which opens the face as I don’t like to see the club face closed. If this driver only comes in 9 degree, does the address position look closed when you up the loft to 10 degree or 10.5, thanks again Andy
Mizuno drivers already sit quite open maybe more so than any other driver if that is the affect you’re going for leaving on 9 it will be almost identical to what you’re use too.
My swing is around 100 mph could I use this club? My driver spins way to much , I hit high drives but to much spin. I want a driver that spins a little lower so I can get the roll out. My driver will fly 235-240 and just not move.
Thanks for the video. I tried the SIM 2 max driver but it has so little feel. Does the Mizuno driver send some nice feedback to the hands? Sure hate that no feel marshmallow impact. Does Mizuno solve this issue?
When you change loft/lie angle and your grip is @golfpride Align, does the adapter change or remain constant with the original setting of the Align grip?

I agree...the ultimate custom fitted club for literally anyone who also like the feel, look and sound
Made the jump from the JPX900 to the ST200 and was quickly impressed the gains Mizuno made in that time period. I hear these are a great leap as well

to be fair Mizuno's standard length is 45" where most other brands are 45.5" to 46"
@@MichaelNewtonGolf very good point, I total forgot about, great job Michael 👍🏻
This is probably going in the bag next year.
Being able to adjust +/- 400 rpm in one club is pretty tremendous. Could be more like +/- 600-700 if you play with loft as well.

Great review looking to check this out this winter on driving range also good tip to get fitting .

Great review as always Michael!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nicest looking driver out.
Great review great looking club, Mizuno woods very underrated.
Agreed!
Beautiful looking driver.
Sure is!
Good review but I want to see how it performs at the higher lofts.
Such a tremendous review. Though, this one question haunts me; why does it seem impossible to find the ST-G on a HZRDUS Blue 6.5?

nice feedback with the Mizuno through the hands, deffo not a dead dull feel
10* loft? We wanted to see you dial it in Can it be dialed in
how should i place the weights if i tend to slice a lot?
into the heel and maybe also try changing the neck sleeve to a more upright setting
When you change loft/lie angle and your grip is @golfpride Align, does the adapter change or remain constant with the original setting of the Align grip?
Obviously not. That would be physically impossible.
No the align grip won’t work on Mizuno if your change the neck setting. It works on Callaway & Titleist but not Mizuno 👍
Which driver is better between Tour Edge C721 and this Mizuno STG?
hmmmm could be a video right there.....
My eyes are set on srixon , mizuno and ping driver even honma !
Hzrdus Smoke shaft?
yes
