Exactly nothing ground breaking about this iron. Every brand has been putting out 2 irons for the last 5-7 years. I bought the cobra king utility 2 iron a few years ago. It looks fairly similar and offers similar features
Lmfao if I gained 5-15+ yards each year by now I should be hitting it 1,000 yards. I swear the advertising might get beginners but to people who have been playing a long time, every single year it's a face palm. If people really knew most of the stuff comes from the exact same factories.... The only difference the brand name on them. Some are made better. But as a machinist it drives me insane knowing the true cost of clubs. Slap a popular brand name on it and 40$ becomes 300$😂😂😂😂. It's ALL advertising and small minded people that really bite on this stuff. There are people out there that swing like a T-Rex but believe a new club will solve it😂😂😂
@@McVilla1N Well, they have to pay for development and marketing etc. etc. somehow. I don't really consider golf clubs to be expensive, they last you a lifetime after all especially the irons.
it changed my golf forever after I snapped it in half and chucked it in the lake on 5th hole at my home course and then got fined for bringing the game in disrepute :)
I have a Srixon Zx mkii 2 +3 driving irons. The 2 is an absolute ROCKET and I can always count on a dead straight 250yd carry drive. It's changed the way I attack a golf course. Great video, subbed for this one.
Yes sirrr I also have the same one in the 2 iron. Beautiful club, and always goes straight for me too. More of a 225/230 carry due to my swing speed but so reliable.
250 carry? What's your driver swing speed? I'm at 102 - 105 MAXXC and am hoping for 220-230 total. After I finish my set, I am definitely getting another driving iron, most likely srixon. That mizuno pro fli hi is worthy of a test too
I'm in exactly the same boat. Bought the Srixon 18° and it feels like it should be illegal. It's so easy to hit, easy to shape, and sends the ball like it was shot out of a cannon. It's not quite the distance I get from my driver pr 3w, but it bridges the gap between 3w and 4i beautifully, and I don't see any mis-hit from this club ever going o.b. this side of an outright shank. Exceptional weapon on these super-narrow New England courses.
I’ve got the ping icrossover 2 driving iron and I absolutely love it - 240 to 250 yards in normal dry conditions and I can shape the ball with it. I tend to play this on par 5’s the majority of the time now
This line of clubs from Mizuno are stoopid underrated!!! Ive had the original for the past year and half or so and it launches the ball. I've got it in 3 and at hybrid length and I just love it. Easy to hit, both off the ground and tee. Easy to flight as well, can keep it low, hit it high, work it right/left. A hybrid may never go back in my bag, ever again.
I truly believe the problem with modern drivers is the length of the shaft! They are too long standard. Also most fittings don’t try a bunch of shafts to properly fit the player.

I've had a 2-Iron in my bag for a couple years. I literally only use it to hit long stingers over 170 while keeping the ball as close to the ground as possible. Awful out the tee box, amazing when you need distance and very low flight.
I can understand how accomplished players may benefit from this club. For the mid to high handicap player? Again, some could but not as many. If my driver is a question mark, I just default to the 5W. I find fairway woods do well for my broken-down old self. In fact, I have been considering a full set of those Eleven clubs. What if we could get driving irons and hybrids meant for a tee that could go as far as drivers traveled 25 years ago-- 260-275yds. The driver would be obsolete for many amateurs.
Me and drivers don’t get on. I bought the u505 cause I have titleist irons and it performs exactly the same. Got the 2 and 3 iron and took away my 3 and 5 wood. No joke first shot at the range hit it 244 of the deck with the 2 iron. Just laughed. Makes golf easier. Great review. 👌🏻
