- Kobe Bryant and Lebron James are interviewed together for the first time.
The two MVP front runners met last night after stellar performances @ Madison Square Garden. It was the first time two players faced off, both coming off 50pt games in the same week, since Elgin Baylor & Wilt Chamberlain in 1962.
Good interview and great behind the scene stuff.

after all this argument on whos better, in reality they're both better than each other. in perception and value. and at the end of the day, these guys are like best friends. the only comment in an argument that isnt wrong is "Lebron and Kobe, 2 of the best players to ever play the game" that cant be wrong in any way possible.
Kobe still has a good 5-6years left in the NBA before we see him to wear outt. But even then, he will still be on top sittin next to MJ. The way i see it, Kobe is entering the Hall of Fame when he's done schooling people in the NBA. He's not leaving without another Ring, you can believe that.

KB24 a true legendary basketball player. the only player in my own eyes that i've ever seen that plays through injury's he has respect for others he influence's others around him he is in my own eyes the best player in the planet the best player in lakers history which has 4 rings seeking his 5th this yr oh' no doubt kobe works harder than lebron KB24 the best closer in the game and future HOF hopefully one day man because he deserve's 2 b up there with the best of the best in history!

@xGarrloveesJB look at the different times. rookies are now coming in at the age of 18 or 19 and are already superstar players. things have changed. so it'S quite clear that those "youngest to reach" records are borken. also kobe wasn't given the great body. but his work ethic got him to where he is now and he deserves a lot of respect for that.
for now let's just be glad to be able to watch 2 of the best players to ever play this game

This is the way it is, Kobe is awesome, Lebron is awesome. Kobe has championships, Lebron will have championships. Lebron is so young yet, he is just as good as Kobe was at his age. We can only compare these two at the end of their careers. If you must compare now, you can only compare where Kobe was at where Lebron is now. Kobe may have had a championship or two by now, but believe me, Lebron's are coming soon. Both are great players and good people. Love watching these two play period.
I think you guys forget how many minutes Kobe has played in his career esp. going deep in the playoffs most years. It will catch up to him pretty soon. Its already happening to guys like Garnett, Duncan, Iverson and there all around the same age. Granted he's a great athlete but playing 100 games a year at 31 will catch up to you. Lakers would be smart to get a real back up to give him some rest Sasha isn't cutting it. Give him 3-4 more dominant years at this level then he'll taper off .

@spongedah21 Ur right, but the only thing is Kobe was never given the green light like LeBron & Jordan were when they came to their respective teams. Kobe rode the bench and when he did get to play, he often had to restrain his natural impulses becuz Shaq was the centerpiece. Cavaliers & Bulls had nuthin until both of the 23s arrived. Im not so sure it is a question of ability with Kobe, as it is he had to develop under a different situation.

@xGarrloveesJB Kobe Bryant is 32 years old and has had injuries up to the moon. As much as people don't believe it, injuries take a lot off your game. Lets also not forget that LeBron James has never won a Ring or even really came close. Yeah he was in the finals, but they got swept. Kobe doesn't model his game around Jordan, he models his game around all the past greats. Baylor, Bird, Johnson, etc. He's the smartest and most excellence driven player to ever live.

carmelo and lebron is a better comparison than kobe and lebron...i mean think about it, been rivals since HS, got drafted the same year, both play the same position, both are skilled ( though i think carmelo is overlooked ), about the same age, both got big physique

@lilseely1 alright sick but who is finals mvp and who is just season mvp. the reason kobe is better is cuz in the playoffs he is able to raise his game. But lebron when faced with an obstacle just dies out in the playoffs.
