I kept one of my cats from chewing on electrical cords by making a dilute solution of water + hot sauce (I used Tabasco sauce) & wiping the cords with the solution. I was there to watch my kitty try chew on the cord: she sprang vertically into the air & ran off shaking her head. She never tried chewing on cords again.

I love the Spath sensation variegated. I propped my green sensation last year and thought I’d killed the whole thing, but now have multiple plants growing. About your kittens. I have two cats and the only plants that they regularly chomp down on are the cat grass that I buy for them and spider plants which they adore and will jump up to grab a bite on hanging plants, plants on high shelves, etc. they sniff and rub their noses into other plants but don’t tend to eat them. I figure they kind of know what they’re doing and can smell if a plant is poisonous. they’ve had a go at parlour Palms as well. Someone once they get a bit older you can have other plants in your house.

I like yellow variegation! What on earth is w everyone that hates it?! Its sunny and beautiful! My Manjulas (both still tiny) are both def white, and now you have me wishing they were yellow variegated! Lol! I also have a young Tenue type (which I guess w the "type" means it isnt actually? That still kinda confuses me! Maybe a good idea for a video!)...

Always love your videos so much, Kaylee! I don’t really have any friends that are into plants (at least, not to the extent that I am lol) so it’s nice to just turn on one of your videos and feel almost like I’m hanging out and chatting plants with a friend. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us. 🫶🏻
I 100% see JB in that Phil hybrid. It’s so GORGEOUS!! And, like a lot of other people in the comments, I’m not usually a big fan of peace lilies/spaths for some reason I can’t exactly put my finger on, but those at the end are honestly so stunning. The variegation reminds me of banana plants. I would definitely love to have one of those in my home! ❤

I’m stoked you are doing manjula. I have one I rescued back in the 2020 craziness and damn is she sexy. Tons of beautiful creamy white variegation on every leaf. Not white white but I wouldn’t call it yellow. Thirsty as hell but grows like a dream. And like barely any browning! I think they are totally underrated.

Kaylee you have all the plants! You should go grab us a white, cream, and a yellow variegated and show us all of them at the same time to further support the argument about the cream variegated thought. If you didnt have one of each I would understand but you have all the tools in the shed, whip them out! :)

Edit: everything is lovely, there were a few I've never seen before. Would love to see the Spathiphyllum in person. I'm gonna be honest I have no idea about Spathiphyllums at all, so I'll research the genus. The two you held up are gorgous. Now I want to find out if there are others in the genus that have a similar vibe.
Edit 2: never mind, they're peace lillies. The two you have are beautiful. The other peace lillies I see just don't do it for me. Not a fan of their growth pattern either.

Or maybe Pewb-er- U- la? I tried to redo the top one to say Pewb-er-EW-la - but RUclips spazzed out on me and was stuck on "keep edit"/"discard" and wouldn't let me do either! Latin names can be tricky - then maybe those in Europe say them a bit different than what we taught pronounce it in America! I try my very best to say it in the actual latin way....but who knows if I was actually taught right! The absolute worse plant name I've EVER come across that I still cant say - even after having heard it pronounced in a video is Monstera acacoyaguensis! I got a cutting as a freebie, and I swear she gave it to me just to make me totally insane cause I said I'm firm about using latin names instead of common ones! Like "oh yeah, here take this one and see if you can say it!!" Groan...🤦‍♀️
