I used to make fun of my dad for making groan noises when he's super concentrated on a task but a couple years ago my girlfriend pointed out that I was making the exact same noises when I focused on anything lol. It wasn't even just for things that are physically draining either, I would do them even when playing videogames or making food or making measurements for hanging stuff on our walls

So jealous of how I never see you clean frames very much!
I'm in Germany, and whilst the window and frame design here is usually quite different from what I see in your videos, almost all my customers fully expect a full frame cleaning to be included.

    • @SteveOthewindowcleaner

Yea on these frames they don't need it but if its normal aluminum frames I always wipe down the inside frame closest to the window but they rarely need it

Bro you’re the only other person I have ever seen that uses a pole with a loose swivel squeegee like that. I usually only do it for higher up arched windows, other than that I try to keep it tight for control. Nice work tho man keep killing it

You're a freak. And I mean that in the best possible way. I've been working on my squeegee technique cause I'm thinking about getting into window cleaning as a profession but you make it look so easy. I really like the water fed pole system because it makes cleaning exterior windows on big two story homes so easy but I'm not going to invest the $10,000 (or whatever it costs for a good system) until I've started making money doing windows and can justify such an expense. Right now I'm a finish carpenter doing finish work on stairs (rails, balusters, posts, trim, kick and skirt, end caps, wall caps, shoe, etc.) but I work for a company and only make about $40 an hour based on the piece rate they pay which isn't a whole lot of money for what I do. I figure if I can sell my own jobs doing windows I could make closer to $100 an hour or more, especially with the water fed pole system. Or at least it could be a good side business to make a couple extra thousand a month on the side. I'll probably be hitting you up soon to get some window cleaning supplies. Thanks for what you do brother. Helping people learn how to make money cleaning windows is very cool of you to do. God bless brother.

Great video bro, your day to day mirrors a lot of ours in the field. I’ve made the same mistake scheduling work on holidays. I guess when Spring rolls around each time I tend to get excited to start scheduling work again, and sometimes literally schedule myself into a corner. Did you end up keeping the little transit connect van, or move on entirely to the pickup?
I have to say, I had an 2000’s Astro van and absolutely loved it, it held a lot of equipment and had AWD, but eventually wore out. I recently bought a newer Transit Connect, over the Dodge & Nissan . I love how they zip around compared to the full sized rigs. I literally have Just enough space for my Tucker/Ro-Di equipment, shelving, trad stuff, and High-rise gear. I’m really liking it. I gained quite a lot of mpg too.
Thanks dude for your continued contributions in our trade of windows. I made quite a lot of videos too in RUclips’s early years, and was also approached by Collinsave productions company on a reality show , but we couldn’t figure out how to make a tv show work. It woulda been cool to make a show like “The Squeegees” …
    Later bro 🥷

    Hi Steve,
You’ve got one of the best window cleaning channels👍
I’m curious as to why you’re using a brass channel on the moerman instead of the moerman channel with the fliquer?
Surely you would have zero detailing with the moerman channel?
Doesn’t it take longer to change between mop & squeegee on the pole?

I use a Moerman fliq pad on my pole so I can wet and squeegee super fast. When not using a pole I use a 2 hand method with an ettore porcupine scrubber in my left hand and Moerman accelerator in my right. I can do a great job even in direct sunlight with this combo and I'm super quick.

@@SteveOthewindowcleaner you do know that's not the one who created ettore he's just the company's sells person lol I'm telling you bro because I worked at the factory in California were it all started and all the white or Chinese people even black people would pronouns it wrong. Worked at the factory for 5 years met top top people who actually had a Italian back ground like the creator and they would pronouns it differently. It's not a English word it's a Italian word. Google how to pronounce ettore.

@glcrashaw How about you find something better to do with your time than complain about how someone pronounces a guys name. Especially with that someone being very well known in this industry. I use a lot of Ettore products in my business and really haven’t ever cared about how it’s pronounced, just happy they make good products. Maybe you can find a window cleaner from Italy to share knowledge with you, maybe he’ll pronounce it the way you want
