    The xero trad pole is the absolute best investment in tools I ever made. I got mine when they first came out and I love it and I keep it in arms-length always because other people like it too from the comments about it while working lol

    All great poles for different applications! One big advantage carbon fiber has over aluminum is they don’t freeze up in the winter making them difficult to adjust like aluminum poles do. I Love the 12ft for store fronts, 20’ trad for larger commercial & The j2 is perfect for inside storefronts(less cumbersome) & if you’re on a ladder and need just a little extra reach(not recommended)😉😬

      So true, switching to carbon fiber is so much better for the winter not to mention just opening and closing a clamp instead of twisting a collar with Icy gloves

    I thought I might’ve regretted buying the trad because it seemed expensive, but once I finally got it and started using it I changed my mind. It doesn’t bend at all so it extremely rigid. Also the clamps are apparently the first thing to break I hear. But you can replace them I believe.

  • @drockholloway

    My favorite is definitely the xero 12 trad pole. I recently got second one in the blue color and noticed it slides through the clamps a little sticky due to the color wrap i assumed. I definitely prefer my first original black trad pole. Thanks for the comparison. Makes me a little jealous of your arsenal lol.

    For unger tip if you flip moerman handle on the underside of the handle itself one single hole fits perfect for unger tip. Doesn’t hone in amazingly but you get used to it.

    So I'm trying to learn to wash windows from your videos, and thankyou they are great.
    I noticed that some people wipe around the edges with a rag before they squeegee it, but you do it after you squeegee. Is there a reason why there is a difference on this?

    • @stefanbertasz4690
      @stefanbertasz4690 11 месяцев назад

      Do what works for you. It seems there are two distinct window cleaning styles...US and British. The brits do this often and also add soap directly to the mop or window. I find workflow much better with the US style.

    I am very new to this and I am learning every day.
    I love the Xero Trad pole
    Now where I am still confused with poles are with tips.
    You sport Ettore, Unger and Moerman. Does a universal tip exist or each brand has its own tip design?
    Thank you

    • @SteveOthewindowcleaner
      @SteveOthewindowcleaner  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, the Unger tip choice its the most universal windowcleaner.com/products/xero-trad-adapters?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS

      @@SteveOthewindowcleaner sorry for all the questions. I have a tucker Bravo 27'
      Would there be a way to use that as a carbon fibre pole for traditional window washing like the Xero trad 2.0? Thanks!

    • @jjgionet1735
      @jjgionet1735 5 месяцев назад

      All good I think I have it figured out! Found a universal tip that is supposed to fit tucker and by the looks of it i can just remove a few sections off the water fed pole to shorten the 27' bravo to a lighter version for squeegee work.

    Hi, why would you prefer to let newbies use the aluminum poles?

    • @SteveOthewindowcleaner
      @SteveOthewindowcleaner  2 года назад

      They lose stuff so losing an aluminum pole is not as costly as losing a carbon fiber pole
