    This was a grand series and I enjoyed the "refurbishing" arc over the three videos. You brought it to a new level and, depending on money and time to spend, as you said, you could do more. I think you got what you wanted, which is a big win!

      Thank you Anthony. The client was very happy with the final result and it certainly gave his rolling stock a focal point. Always difficult balance, to please the client and work to a budget. I was amazed at the result comparing their example to my 40+ year old example. Glad you liked it

      They certainly were and in Part 1 of this series I do make mention of the fact that they are an old design which accounts for some drawbacks when comparing them to the newer stuff

      @@StBlazeyModelWorld I have quite a few and with TLC they do hold up mate if you can flush glaze (nightmare ) even better

      @@marksinthehouse1968 They certainly had good build quality on their side and that appears to be lacking in many new models when you watch 'un-boxing' videos
