Hey Mr Burton , as always , good hearing from ya . Watching your play reminds me just how passive I am . I'm looking forward to " the rest of " the story . So Y'all keep on smiling and I'll see you next time .
It was cool running into you in the Bellagio Poker Room my 1st full day in LV (Mon June 24th). Even though I busted every 1-3 buy in I played in "your room", "your hand", the 35 suited, won me many a nice pot while in town during the Series elsewhere in leading to a winning trip, even flopping a boat with it in 1 instance. I would rather see that over 2 unsuited face cards in any cash game preflop!
I was in Las Vegas that week but was on my way home on the 11th. The 1/3 at the Bellagio paid for the trip. Even after I lost 300 at the Venetian in the slowest game on earth.
The amount of work it has to produce this incredible content does not go unnoticed by me and I know others! I love it!! But Jaman there is always a but because you know that I know that you know what's coming! Dan! What Jaman? I spoil you with my videos! You are lucky that I give you almost everything you want so don't ask me to bring back OLD ENGLISH until I'm ready for him to come back! Do you understand what I'm saying Dan? Uh I guess so Jaman I mean after all it's your world and we are just along for the ride! 🤣🤣🤣
13:31 I ❤ when recs get punished for running it once when they are ahead and twice when they are behind. Then 14:01 "If I go all in do you fold?" 😂 recs always want to find a way to avoid variance.
It's largely nit regs that want to reduce variance. playing every day and still scared to go once. I love (and this happens way more in plo) when 2-3 of them have their little meeting, all agree to go twice then one timing them when they're done with that nonsense.
That first hand is tough. Raise and get the fold. Call, then check river, and villain likely checks back. Maybe call then donk? Still looks pretty strong.
Sometimes you just aren't getting paid. Raising the turn was definitely the best play IMO. The only thing you need to decide is how you're going to handle a spade on the river. Probably bet fold the river if you face an all-in. It would be painful though.
@@donaldcedar7574 This depends on the player. Is villain fold-prone when raised on the turn? Does he tend to bet when checked to on the river? Does he bluff a lot? Does he value bet thin on the river? It is not a black and white answer. To be clear, I am fine with either play, unless villain is clearly one type of player.
Doyle Brunson: “Poker is war”, Slim Charles: “Fact is, we went to war, and now there ain't no going back. I mean, shit, it's what war is, you know? Once you in it, you in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie”……well done sir!
7:42 (A3d), Q here: Why have you called his turn bet? You knew he was ahead, (some pair..88/99/TT). You also knew he would not fold to a river bluff. So: is that you anticipated an "A" on river?
This happend to me so many times. No idea what people are thinking. I'm like "at this point, it should be clear to anyone that I am the only player at this table who even remotely knows what he is doing. And you seat change to my RIGHT?? Do you even know what that means? I guess you just like the view better??"
Just a note on the AK you played, and he had a set of 4s, you played that hand like you hate money. The Donk bet, I don't have anything on the flop, but I have the button bet.
@@TheDrawingDeadVlog People don't know how to play AK or play when they have the button, AK is a glorified drawing hand that hits the flop 30 percent of the time. It was the classic donk bet, "I have the button, it was checked to me, I must bet". what's your version of a donk bet. You checking the flop would have been the best thing. Then on the turn the set of 4s would have bet and then you would know more where you stand in the hand, When the 5 hits the river you could have bet there going back to what you said by calling the button would make more sense you're holding a hand that contains a 7, they would put you on a hand like A,7 suited or any hand with a 7,10,J,Q etc suited, so it would make more sense to bet on the river than checking the river. You could be telling the story you have hit the backdoor flush, or you hit your hand containing a 7. I've seen more live poker hands played out in life, more than a lot of these youtube vloggers, I use to deal for 16 years. One time a player asked me, if I played poker I said, I don't know how to play poker he said most of the players playing don't know how to play poker.
Pocket JJ vs pocket QQ shows that knowing opp profile helps tonnes. Flatted pf, flatted flop, checked turn...wow~!! Wonder, why did he dare to bet river? b/c you shown some weakness on turn? lol
It's ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS the kind of DICKish things @jamanburton says like, "Once I hit 1 set, I'm gonna hit another one!!!!" and still makes friends at the table is the #MASTERCLASS of comedic artistry by the #DRAWINGDEAD only rivaled by the likes of Red Fox, Pryor, Murphy, and Chappelle.

Anybody who dislikes playing AK or JJ the way it’s supposed to be played, infuriates me. The ONLY thing I dislike more, is when people verbally berate dealers
@@TheDrawingDeadVlog I understand everyone’s bad beats they’ve had with AK or JJ, but I could not tell you the amount of times I’ve got it all in with regs in the $2/$5 streets and the board runs out 7/8/9/10 high and I’ve got the winner 🏆
Man these deckmate 2s have been designed in a way to create the least action possible. That way players stay at the table and it keeps games from breaking. I’ve never seen so many mediocre hands constantly flop and action killing runouts. Even watching your past vlogs for however long, it seems you never make big hands or cooler anyone. Smaller poker rooms with less action can run a scheme of having a house player in the game and always set his seat to win as happens in home games and texas. It’s very easy for a savvy poker room manager and tech genius friend buy a scamate 2 machine off ebay and tweak it as they please with never getting caught. No matter what angle you want to look at it, these machines are compromised and there should be more advocating from players to remove these cheat machines or to have a few riffles from the dealer when it comes out of the machine then deal to ensure player safety bc “that’s why they made these new updated machines in the first place” right? Player safety and max rake dealing more hands per hour. Everyone wins, dealers players and casino. I believe not. It’s not about player safety, nothing was wrong with original shuffle masters, they did the job fine and it was randomized without a camera in the machine. Deckmate 2s main focus I’ve noticed is dealing shitty hands out again and again that way action checks down, they get their rake and they deal out more hands while people get felted at a way smaller frequency.
