Why IDEA StatiCa Connection?

Does IDEA Statica beam to column end plate connection design match with AISC Design guide (DG4/DG16), and the base plate (DG1) ?

"When performing checks on connections in IDEA StatiCa, the program does not consider these Design Guides (which are not considered as normative) directly. The recommendations presented in these guides are sometimes also based on simplifying assumptions of the structural behavior.
There have been some comparisons between calculations with IDEA StatiCa and manual calculations based on AISC DG1, DG4 DG16 and other Design Guides however, showing that in many cases the results are similar or in cases where there are differences, these differences can be explained, see:
