Honestly I think it’s kinda overrated, too many people say it’s the best. It is a great game with great combat, but now I have no reason to replay the game now that you can replay bosses as many times as you want. The level and enemy design is very lacking, the fact that there are missable prayer beads sucks, and the fact that the difficulty of the mini bosses come down to the ads around the mini boss is just bullshit difficulty. It is great, but not better than bloodborne or Elden ring, or even dark souls 3 imo
@@Travisaurus "too many people say its the best", you don't speak for everybody bruh, just because you don't enjoy the game or are unable to recognize some of its uniqueness doesn't mean that our opinions are invalid.
Malenia was way harder than Isshin for me. I wanted to beat her with "my" build so i didn't re-spec. Thats the best thing about ER. You choose your difficulty at any point in the game.
I still consider Isshin harder, bc in Elden you can just make a build around Radahn's fight and defeat him easily. You have summons and whatmore, whereas in Sekiro when you're facing Isshin is either you learn how to parry/mikiri + his pattern or get wrecked.
@@Soldier1stClasshonestly I beat him the hard way get good and stick to your build and level but even the cheesiest builds and a mimic would get folded
Ishin 1st place is well deserved. If with all the others you can level up or get help, ishin forces you to master the deflect mechanic without any shortcut, to beat him you have to surpass yourself.
For sure. Highly recommend playing the others too. Especially Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, and Bloodborne. The others are good, except I don’t really like DS2 all that much.
@@Soldier1stClass yeah I fully played DS3, it’s one of my favorites, I just couldn’t get myself through BB or Sekiro because part of the fun for me at least is the character and build customization. I might try them again in the future though
In my personal opinion, the first fight with Owl was my hardest boss, specifically on Sekiro's own official hard mode (when you give Kuro back the charm). Charmless mode makes it to where you have to deflect perfectly otherwise you take chip damage. I could not for the life of me get used to Great Shinobi's timings. I didn't do Charmless until I was already at NG+7. Owl Father is my favorite boss fight, so I was used to his timings.
I did NG+ charmless and with demon bell, I don't know why even today. Owl Father almost made me get the charm back and dispel the curse. But it was SO satisfying when I made it!
I haven’t fought the final boss yet so I can’t confirm that one, but for me, in no way is Rellana harder than Demon. I bodied her in like 4-5 tries. Demon took me at least 20
Something else is that the Shadow of the Erdtree bosses are absolutely awesome. Messmer took me around an hour of attempts but the entire time I was just in awe of how cool he was. Some of these bosses are just punishing and draining. Have not yet fought Radahn but the only boss I’ve really felt was difficult just to be difficult was Commander Gaius and the Scadurtree Avatar in my opinion.
No they are not , just level up your scadutree and use the npc summons with your mimic and they are easy , Id still say radhan is hard asf but not the hardest because you can summon and have a wall as your shield 😂 but for ishin it's you and your sword
I’m so happy to see Midir getting the respect he deserves! Out of all dark souls 3 bosses he easily gave me the most trouble. Him and the demon prince personally
@@Soldier1stClass haha I feel that! I actually played the ringed city dlc way back when it first came out and I remember the pain and agony I went through trying to beat him. Took me around 60 attempts or so lol
“I love when bosses make you do the opposite of what your have been conditioned to do.” Oh boy let me tell yah about the #1 boss in the souls series. The blazing bull 🗿
LMAO you can actually deflect those guys. But I feel what you mean. The Sakura bull was super easy though. You could run it into a wall and it would auto stun it
Something that amazes me about these games is how boss difficulty completely changes depending on who you are. For example, one of my hardest bosses from Elden Ring is, for some weird reason, the Red Wolf of Radagon. I don't know why, but I cannot get his timings at all. However, I can breeze through the Maliketh fight like its just some weak dog. Nameless King took me about 6 to 7 tries, but CURSE-ROTTED GREATWOOD took me HOURS. It's just so interesting.
My top 10 would be 10-orphan of kos(bloodborne) 9-darklurker(ds2) 8-malenia(elden ring) 7-ludwig(bloodborne) 6-lud and zallen(ds2) 5-sister friede(ds3) 4-demon of hatred(sekiro) 3-kalameet(ds) 2-isshin(sekiro) 1-midir(ds3) Honorable mentions: Lawrence(bloodborne) Nameless king (ds3) Fume knight (ds2) Manus(ds) Pontiff sulyvahn (ds3) Ancient dragon(ds2) Flame lurker (demon souls) Owl father (sekiro) This is my list of the hardest soulsborne bosses in my opinion 🙂↔️
Great list! I’m actually shocked Malenia is so low tbh, but that’s the beauty of the series. Bosses are just entirely different experiences for everyone.
@@Soldier1stClass yeah XD Tbh i never had mutch trouble with her but i can see why so many people struggle on her fight becuz of the high dmg and the health recover , i guess i had not mutch trouble cuz i played every souls before elden ring so i was kinda "trainned" for that . But thats the beauty of the series as u said , great list as well btw 😄
There’s a method where you jump on one of the towers, jump over to the top of the gate before Ashina Castle, run to the other side of its roof, and wait for the demon to just jump off the cliff.
I’m glad sister Friede got a spot. I’ve only played Sekiro, ER and DS3 but she was the one I struggled the most with in all the souls born games I’ve played
Man, it's sad to think how many people haven't experienced how great Sekiro is because of the damn chained ogre. I totally understand where people are coming from when they say that was the point in the game they quit.
Yeah it was rough for me, but then I tried it again after playing Elden Ring and fell in love with the game. Now I’ve beaten every SoulsBorne game including some other Souls likes like Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen remake
My personal hardest was Melenia, her damn healing for every hit, water dance and second phase scarlet Rot was crazy. However, I have not played Sekiro yet.
Yeah on any given day, Malenia could be on the top spot. The only reason I placed her second was because of Elden Ring’s openness for build crafting, where sekiro is all about skill and determination. There’s no cheese builds or broken weapons that can destroy Isshin. It’s a long war of attrition. Sekiro is totally worth it though. Phenomenal game.
Tbh I think ishinn was #2 for me on first playthrough in terms off most attempts after malenia, but I think once you figure him out you’re unlikely to die fighting him again. Same can’t be said for malenia or orphan for example.
1. Malenia 2. Laurence, the First Vicar 3. Isshin, the Sword Saint 4. Sister Friede & Father Ariandel 5. Godfrey, First Elden Lord 6. Ludwig the Accursed 7. Mohg, Lord of Blood 8. Owl (Father) 9. Gwyn, Lord of Cinder (no parries) 10. Maliketh, the Black Blade
@@Soldier1stClass I did a reaction to yo vid but I didn’t upload it to my channel and I wanted to ask first b4 I did. I have small reactions channel and I react to all kinds of stuff lol you mind if I upload it on my channel and in my description I’ll add yours?
Dude I have seen other hardest boss rankings and each time I’m like WHY IS ISHIN NOT #1!!! It’s because he is unrelenting, and you can’t change yourself. In every other game you can change your build, and you can’t in this fight. I am so glad you rated it at #1
I beat swordsaint isshin in under 30 attempts, with my hardest boss being the guardian ape 😂 (I hated that thing). As for Elden Ring I beat all bosses including dlc bosses in under 20 attempts, except damn maliketh and ended up taking well over 50 attempts…
I haven’t fought demon of hatred or larewnce. Because I beat orphan and ishin and therefore felt I did enough. It’s hard to rile myself up after beating the games.
Good list lol. Sekiro was my first fromsoft game and I accidentally rang that bell without knowing what I did. Orphan of Kos was most disappointing fromsoft boss I beat him in four tries. Ishin easily the hardest. If you refuse Kuro charm and have demon bell on, good luck.
What a silly thing to say, just because a boss was easy doesn’t mean that they are any less of a masterpiece, Melania was easy for me, that doesn’t mean she is disappointing 💀
Great list, wouldn’t change a lot tbh apart from nameless king I know everyone has different experiences with bosses but I found him so easy & wouldn’t be anywhere near my top 10 but can’t argue with the rest of the list 👌👍
Yeah that’s the beauty of the SoulsBorne series. Nameless King beat my ass the first time I played DS3. But some people find him easy, whether that be because of build or strategy used. And that’s why I love this series so much. There’s so many unique experiences
@@Soldier1stClass Yh exactly right. Bring on shadow of the erdtree this Friday 😁, from what I’ve heard from reviews could be a few new bosses added to this list
I agree with your too 2, especially considering the sheer number of times Isshin of Ashina & Isshin the sword saint no hit me. Even without nearly as many instant kill-one shot abilities as Malenia Isshin is truly a nightmare of a challenge and my favorite boss ever.
I've only watched the first 1:06 seconds of this, but Owl Father at #10 is criminal, I don't even care how the rest of the list goes. I can't think of a fight other than Malenia that took me more tries. Luckily it's a great boss fight imo, so it wasn't super frustrating, but I know it took 100+ tries, easily. I even started keeping track of my losses at one point, and I was going to continue to keep track with the rest of the boss fights, but nothing else gave me trouble like that. I think Sword Saint Isshin is the only one after that fight that took me more than 10 tries to beat. Update: Rest of the list is solid
@@Soldier1stClass lol, purely because my personal experience doesn't align perfectly with your list. I didn't exactly cruise through the rest of the bosses on the list, but none of them aside from Malenia gave me even close to the trouble that Owl Father did. I just assumed everyone had tons of trouble on him, but not as many as I thought apparently.
@scocooper1 Owl Father destroyed me for sure, but that’s just how crazy the rest of the list is. Honestly on any given day, the hardest boss could be any of them lmao
Hate to be that guy but Smough and Company was pretty easy. Also Isshin isnt shit compared to Inner Owl Father tbh. I beat Isshin in like a day. Regular Owl took me weeks.
I know a lot can take him but fuck fuck fuck the fire giant man. Always a block for me. I'll be real. There wasn't a boss in Bloodborne that really made me pull my hair.
It honestly depends on my build. My most recent build I think only took two tries, and the only reason it wasn’t a one try is because I was being a dumbass lmao but then I’ll go in there with another build, get wrecked. Change builds again, and dominate. It really just depends on the character and the attempt for me with Fire Giant
Yeah Amygdala in general can be rough. It’s the enemies whose movements are hard to judge that get me. I’m not the best at reading hitboxes, though I am improving that skill
ya he sucks to go against if you do it solo. you can mimic tear and let it draw agro and beat him pretty fats though. elden ring ai cant handle summons and a player fighting at the same time lol.
I think with some stipulations malenia is the hardest. 1. No spirit summons 2. Keep level in check (around 100) 3. Dodge waterfowl properly and not use pot, bloodhound step or barricade shield Then if you say only parry and no dodge shes quite a bit harder than isshin. She has a 1-2 that is so fast I cannot reliably parry it. Then she hits ao hard that if I miss the parry on that 1-2, I'm basically dead. But if over-leveling and cheesy stuff is cool, yea isshin is the toughest.
I think the reason Isshin is the top for me, is because it’s a battle of our skill as opposed to being able to overlevel, etc, as you outlined. There’s no extra content for you to go do in Sekiro. It’s you vs him. But, at the same time, Malenia is rough regardless of your level, but there are tools to make it easier. If Sekiro had those same tools, Malenia would definitely be the hardest. But Elden Ring was designed to alleviate some of the challenge in various ways, and self imposed challenges as opposed to design imposed challenges are vastly different. So while I would agree with you from an actual difficulty measurement, I had to take into account more than just the leveling and extra tools. It was more mechanical. But on any given day you can rearrange the two and still have a death march to get through lmao
I would honestly rank Malenia above Isshin because even though i died WAYYYYY more times to Isshin i still felt fully in control of beating him, Malenia felt out of my control more than a few times. Also builds can make her harder or easier, Isshin is just skill
Yeah Owl Father was a total bastard. Idk how much of the rest of the series you’ve played, but Owl Father isn’t near what Midir or Isshin is for me. There’s something about Isshin that I just can’t seem to get down even on subsequent playthroughs.
@@Soldier1stClass same for me with owl father, his attacks are just so unpredictable from the spark throw to the counter strikes, isshin was somewhat easier because I was able to get his block bar higher and not have it fun out as fast as owl father, you just have to be very quick with parrying isshin and make sure in the 2nd phase to parry Glock shots and also take the time you need to heal, third phase is really easy as long as you can lighting reverse him, owl was a pain because his bar healed up so fast and he would sit back a ton
Realistically Elden ring bosses shouldnt be on a "hardest" list, maybe Consort Radahn can slightly make it into the top 10. But for the rest of the bosses if using summons (mimic tear) and magic (meteorite of astel or comet azur), a beginner with no experience can beat any boss within 5 attempts. So they arent really that hard if you use whats offered in the game
How is Isshin harder than Demon? Ironic considering Isshin took 8 tries and demon 6 but hear me out. Isshin has thrust attacks which means mikiri(the best gameplay mechanic ever made). He's human and a bit taller than sekiro which means he doesn't cover you or you're screen so you can't see what you're doing. And finally, he brings lightning which means you can absolutely abuse the reversal mechanic (one of the best game mechanics ever made). Side note: Started elden ring recently and managed to reach Leyndell and that god damn lightning tree sentinel. Sad to see that lightning reversal wasn't in it, could have been really helpful against the aimbot lightning. Also, elden ring is brutal when you come from sekiro. Like, I struggled in sekiro at the start, but I never didn't struggled this much💀. Now personally, I wouldn't even include Owl Father here since I think he's one of the easier bosses due to how straight forward that fight is. He's also one of the very few bosses that I ever first tried. Even if we talk Inner bosses then neither Inner Isshin or Inner Owl would be here since the former I did in one go and Owl took 2 attempts(because bird). Now if there was a boss I would include here, it would be Isshin Ashina because phase 2. Phase 2 has the floor is lava, the amount fiery attacks and ONE-MIND. That stuff just deletes you. There you go, my honest rant & opinion xD.
Tbh, the list is very subjective and my personal feelings at the time of making the video, mixed with some popular consensus. I can totally see people thinking Demon is the hardest boss. But for me, Isshin beats my ass no matter how many times I’ve beaten him. Same with Malenia. But any given day, any of these bosses could be higher than they placed.
@@Soldier1stClass Course it's subjective, hence I felt like sharing my own take xD When it comes to sekiro, I do struggle a bit with certain bosses when I haven't played the game for a while. But then there are those bosses like Father or Genichiro, for example, that I have fought so many times that the muscle memory never really goes away which I think is kinda cool. Sure, won't be a perfect fight but it's always enough to get out on top and with minimal harm to my health bar :)
@LourdessApekatt Sekiro has become one of my favorite videogame experiences ever, so I totally get the love for it. Getting the platinum was an incredible feeling, though the skills grind made me wanna pull my hair out lmao
@@Soldier1stClass Ye, Sekiro was the first game I ever got all achievements in and let me tell you, on my first playthrough, I grinded nightjars and ministry shinobis to get the spiral cloud combat art to fight shinobi owl with(I ended up not using it in the fight💀) and that xp farming was long. Also had a problem where I didn't get the achievement for acquiring all prosthetic tools but I got the achievement for upgrading all(kinda funny). So I had to start a new save and just speed through the game to get every prosthetic lol.
As hard as Malenia was with no buffs no cheese builds no cheese weapons no summons and just a strait up 1v1 and balanced melee duel, isshin still stands as the hardest boss in all of soulsborne for me
Yeah I’d have to agree. The tools are in place to defeat her in several ways, but with Isshin, it’s just straight up the hardest fight in the game and the series for me.
@@Soldier1stClass not about the tools you have or anything for me, I used absolutely no cheese in any type of way whatsoever and struggled more on sword saint
@@Soldier1stClass wasn’t the same for me, I had by far the hardest time with a boss on isshin first playthrough, now I can beat him in a few attempts but man I will never forget the first playthrough
@@wizcatcheslightning this was honestly a tough list because all of these bosses can be the hardest boss of any run for any reason. So I tried to look at them mechanically instead of just popular choice.
@@Soldier1stClass makes sense. You nailed it well! And to your point, Great Ape was painstakingly difficult for me. But Owl Father was way easier for me than Owl
2 things, it's subjective, the other, check the date on the video. This came out a few weeks or a month before the DLC lmao My list has definitely changed, though I still would put Isshin towards the top, with Radahn now being number 1. Bayle wasn't that hard for me, so he wouldn't even make the list, but Radahn would definitely be number 1. I recently beat Malenia taking only 2 hits of damage, and that being from the scarlet rot bloom, so my ranking still stands for her. Isshin bodies me every single time I finish Sekiro. Like it's not even close to how many times it takes me to beat him than any other boss, except for Radahn now. I still find Friede and Gael to be easier than Isshin, and I personally don't find Gael to be that hard either. I also did mention in the video that this list was subjective, and on any given day the rankings could be different. It's also a hardest bosses list in a series known for hardest bosses in gaming. The difference between the top 10 is almost minimal until you reach a top 3-5 anyway
I understand the struggle with storm king and nameless but I have to disagree and say that the hardest ds3 boss in my opinion would be slave knight gale
Honestly you could say that about any boss if you find the right strategy beforehand. That doesn’t make the intended difficulty of the fight any easier though.
@@Soldier1stClass no it’s not the same because the level of counter for her is much greater compared to other bosses, you straight up can kill her in 5 seconds with some builds, you can’t do that in sekiro, you can’t cut out 80% of the difficulty by throwing one item. And I’m not counting cheese that includes glitches such as making them fall off the map
Well, I was meaning more so in Elden Ring, not Sekiro. Sekiro is straight up, you have to fight this boss. Elden Ring and honestly the rest of the SoulsBorne series besides Sekiro, have a lot of different tools in place that can trivialize bosses. Hell even sekiro has a cheese method for Demon of Hatred that I showed in the video, and that’s the second hardest boss in the entire game. I absolutely love Sekiro and would rank Isshin #1 9/10 times, but the intended difficulty of Malenia is still extremely high. She just has more options, which I also stated in the video.
@@Soldier1stClass idk even her intended difficulty is just learning how to dodge water fowl, if u figure that out she’s a really simple fight, I personally had a harder time with radagon
Midir at 6 ?? Bro what are you smoking to rank nameless king, kos and malenia as harder ? 😂 the only bosses to rival midir are isshin and dlc radahn...
@@Soldier1stClass Everybody is allowed to have their own opinion of course. I just believe that midir is harder and deserves a higher Spot on this List. The rest of your List is pretty good tho dont get me wrong. Im just saying as someone who platinumed all souls games i can almost guarantee you that if you went to kill all bosses over again, midir would make you die way more often than nameless king, malenia and kos. All love tho, still good video
Oh you’re good, I didn’t take any offense at all. Just stating that any given day the list could be different, just depends on how I did against them at the time, how many times it took me to beat them, etc. I’ve also platinumed Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring, so I feel ya there too haha I’ll eventually try to platinum them all except maybe DS2 lmao not a huge fan of that one.
@@Soldier1stClass give it a shot bro it aint that bad. Try out dark sorcery build its OP in ds2 😅 I also like the System of Bonfire aesthetic. Thank you for taking the time to respond 💪🏼
@miguelduarteterrivel8127 No problem! I enjoyed my first play through of DS2 but by the end I was ready for it to be over. It’s still a great game, just wasn’t my favorite of the series. I’ll probably go back and platinum it at some point. I grinded out Sekiro’s lmao, I can get DS2’s. The next one I’ll probably try to platinum will probably be DS1 or DS3.
1st Sekiro isnt a soulsbourne for many reasons, 2nd Isshin is way easier than the demon of hatred I never beaten it yet and Ive dealth Ishhin already 3 times didnt played yet bloodborne DS1 and 2 , I bet Radahn, consort of Miquella will be #1 soon, that took me almost 8 hours 2 hours a day in 4 days after 2 days not getting anywhere using builds I have come up with I have to watch video tutorial of its moves then getting used to and finding a proper weapon I mean my feet was shaking when I only need to land 2-3 hits.
Isshin was pretty easy for me. Beat that mf in like 7 tries and then in my next 2 playthroughs first try both times. Sekiros difficulty is super overrated
You ranking Isshan at number 1 tells me that you don’t understand sekiros combat. He is actually really easy once you get to know the combat I’m not very good at video games and I don’t have much time to play. But once I understand sekiros combat after real owl father fight, everything became easy. I beat Isshan on my 5th try
I mean I understand the combat just fine, doesn’t make that fight any easier for me. I can do most of the bosses now fairly well, but something about Isshin just trips me up. My most recent playthrough was a fairly quick one, but again, Isshin Sword Saint always trips me up. Way more so than his Ashina Castle fight for the Shura ending. That’s a breeze compared to this one for me.
Isshin can be easy on first playthrough, but he's actually one of the hardest fights as you do more playthroughs of Sekiro. Isshin, the Sword Saint on a NG+7, Demon Bell, and Charmless playthrough is the hardest boss.
@@davidnewhart2533 okey do that on ng7 Malenia with Shabriri woe with no summons, and that one head piece that make you take more damage Malenia is way way way harder

@@Soldier1stClass haha I feel that! I actually played the ringed city dlc way back when it first came out and I remember the pain and agony I went through trying to beat him. Took me around 60 attempts or so lol
Laurence was the hardest for me. One mistake will lead you to being stunlocked to death.
Yeah his fire is ridiculous lmao
It’s hard but mostly annoying as hell
@@boggle4763i guess but you can dodge all of his attacks
@@shahvirkhan5748 not if half the floor is covered in lava
And on ng+4 he oneshots you from 99 vigor in phase 2
It’s honestly why I love the SoulsBorne community, cause there’s so many interesting stories surrounding the boss fights.
My hardest fight was radagon and elden beast.
@JohnDoe-df7bl that’s honestly one of my least favorite fights in the series from a gameplay perspective
@@Soldier1stClass Same.
Another top 10 soulborne bosses? GORGEOUS.
It’s a little outdated after the DLC lmao
My top 10 would be
10-orphan of kos(bloodborne)
9-darklurker(ds2)
8-malenia(elden ring)
7-ludwig(bloodborne)
6-lud and zallen(ds2)
5-sister friede(ds3)
4-demon of hatred(sekiro)
3-kalameet(ds)
2-isshin(sekiro)
1-midir(ds3)
Honorable mentions:
Lawrence(bloodborne)
Nameless king (ds3)
Fume knight (ds2)
Manus(ds)
Pontiff sulyvahn (ds3)
Ancient dragon(ds2)
Flame lurker (demon souls)
Owl father (sekiro)
This is my list of the hardest soulsborne bosses in my opinion 🙂↔️
@tnr-STRIFE yeah for sure haha and thanks!!
i beat malenia for my first time yesterday. it was a heavy knights greatsword with chilling mist. no summon, 15 vigor
DoH in Sekiro was the only boss I ever had to cheese, and never beat legitimately
😂. Well I defeated him and it felt amazing.
how do you even "cheese" a sekiro boss? I mean i know the flute, but that isnt cheesing
There’s a method where you jump on one of the towers, jump over to the top of the gate before Ashina Castle, run to the other side of its roof, and wait for the demon to just jump off the cliff.
@@Soldier1stClass what💀, nah thats crazy. DoH is optional, why even bother doing that
@@eenne2 make him run off the cliff
With the Elden Ring DLC dropping, i do believe we have to include one other boss on top..
Yeah I’ve heard lmao I haven’t fought them yet myself, but I’ve heard it’s a death march
I'd argue he's worse than sword saint ishinn
@@cameronjames2874 he's definitely the hardest fromsoft boss to date. Isshin is challenging only if you are greedy.
Its not a death march its an execution I've beaten him you need to be good to beat him @Soldier1stClass
I plan to accept said challenge lmao I watched someone kill him with a parrying dagger and misericorde dual wielding build. It was INSANE lmao
I’m glad sister Friede got a spot. I’ve only played Sekiro, ER and DS3 but she was the one I struggled the most with in all the souls born games I’ve played
Sister Friede more than deserves a spot. She’s an incredibly challenging boss for sure.
I’ve played all the Soulsborne games but Sekiro is by far my favourite!
Wait till bro finds out about promised consort radahn 💀
Yeah I haven’t finished the DLC yet. Just beat Messmer a few hours ago.
I’ve beaten Sekiro 3 times and he still gives me fits lmao
1. Malenia
2. Laurence, the First Vicar
3. Isshin, the Sword Saint
4. Sister Friede & Father Ariandel
5. Godfrey, First Elden Lord
6. Ludwig the Accursed
7. Mohg, Lord of Blood
8. Owl (Father)
9. Gwyn, Lord of Cinder (no parries)
10. Maliketh, the Black Blade
Great list!!

@@Soldier1stClass OK coo
Let me know when it’s up!
Dude I have seen other hardest boss rankings and each time I’m like WHY IS ISHIN NOT #1!!! It’s because he is unrelenting, and you can’t change yourself. In every other game you can change your build, and you can’t in this fight. I am so glad you rated it at #1
Yeah he still beats my ass to this day and I have the platinum lmao
I beat swordsaint isshin in under 30 attempts, with my hardest boss being the guardian ape 😂 (I hated that thing). As for Elden Ring I beat all bosses including dlc bosses in under 20 attempts, except damn maliketh and ended up taking well over 50 attempts…
I haven’t fought demon of hatred or larewnce. Because I beat orphan and ishin and therefore felt I did enough. It’s hard to rile myself up after beating the games.
I love Lawrence for sure. Demon of Hatred is frustrating, but it feels like an earned victory. Maybe someday you’ll give it a shot and enjoy it!
@ryancampbell8468 yeah I’m excited
Chris Benoit theme I wasn’t expecting to hear that again in 2024 now I gotta go listen to the full theme
Thanks for watching everyone! Be sure to let me know your top 10 hardest bosses!!
LMFAO I’m glad you stuck through. But let me ask, what makes Owl Father at 10 criminal?
Yeah I bodied Ornstein and Smough in 3 tries when I played them, but a lot of people struggled with them.
At 4:28 mistake spotted muahauhauah ( Cool video by the way ) 😁😁
Lmao thanks!!
Defiled amygdala was insanely rough
Yeah Amygdala in general can be rough. It’s the enemies whose movements are hard to judge that get me. I’m not the best at reading hitboxes, though I am improving that skill
ya he sucks to go against if you do it solo. you can mimic tear and let it draw agro and beat him pretty fats though. elden ring ai cant handle summons and a player fighting at the same time lol.
Nice list! The only 2 things i didn't expect where Kalameet being in the list and Demon Princes not being on the list tho
I didn’t have near as much trouble with Demon Princes as I hear a lot of people having, but Kalameet absolutely destroyed me for a few hours lmao
That Chris Benoit music sums up most experiences with Soulsborne games 🤣
You ain’t kidding lmao
beat malenia today after 5 days and nearly 100 deaths...I still have maliketh, godfrey and radagon but I feel empty and miss dying to malenia now lol
LMAO that fight changes you. I still remember how it felt to finally beat her the first time. It makes you look at videogames differently
@@Soldier1stClass It awakened something in me fs
Yea I know what u mean but Maliketh is a good fight too
I think with some stipulations malenia is the hardest.
1. No spirit summons
2. Keep level in check (around 100)
3. Dodge waterfowl properly and not use pot, bloodhound step or barricade shield
Then if you say only parry and no dodge shes quite a bit harder than isshin.
Damn I thought Slave Knight Gael was harder than Nameless King lmao
Yeah this list is obviously very subjective cause I didn’t think Gael was that hard, but Nameless King beat my ass
Hardest for me was orphan of kos and midir dragon ans sister frieda. I beat all the others in 1-2 tries
Midir and Sister Freide give me a lot of trouble too.
I would honestly rank Malenia above Isshin because even though i died WAYYYYY more times to Isshin i still felt fully in control of beating him, Malenia felt out of my control more than a few times. Also builds can make her harder or easier, Isshin is just skill
malenia was my first as well. shes by far my favourite boss
Yeah she’s my second favorite after Nameless King. Both are absolutely incredible
Isshin is the only souls boss I have yet to beat man he is actually ridiculous
Yeah he’s beaten my ass at least 100 times lmao maybe even more.

@zanchohuncho9654 yeah I was really excited to see that his hiatus was over, but it’s definitely a “I’ll believe it when I see it” type of deal.
lady freide will always be my kryptonite
Owl father for me is the hardest by far, I didn’t spend near as much time as I did on demon of hatred or isshin Glock saint as much as owl father
So where would you rank these now with the SotE DLC out?
I haven’t beaten it all the way yet but I’m hearing the final boss of it may be #1 now lmao
@@Soldier1stClass Bayle and Messmer might be earning a spot on the list as well
@nickt.8738 didn’t find Bayle to be that tough, but Messmer I haven’t fought yet.
Oh Malenia, the truest of Queens of Soulsborne fights
She’s the Queen of something alright lmao
With the new DLC out, I feel like the final boss may take the new #1 spot
I haven't had a chance to fight it yet, (Been sick as hell so Just finished Rellana,) but I'm hearing things LMAO
@Soldier1stClass it's definitely as hard as people say
To each his own, but Nameless King above Midir and Malenia not number one... I would have put them the other way.
Like I said in the video, any given day the list could be rearranged
Take the iron oath ending first. It makes isshin sword saint more palatable
Sister Friede is hard because she's basically a Bloodborne boss in DS lol
Yeah she’s aggressive as fuck lmao I love it!
@@Soldier1stClass one of my favorite bosses ever.
Definitely up there for me as well
@@Soldier1stClassShe is way higher in my list. Definitely top 3. Harder than malenia. She is extremely aggressive.
You’ve been dodging away from the bosses for the whole series ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
Like dodge rolling away? Yeah lmao left or right or trying to get behind usually lmao
id rather have to kill malenia 100 times than having to kill ishin one time, that guy is a nightmare.
Agreed LMAO
Midir is harder than orphan. I beat orphan second try
i swear malenia took me 18 hrs + but isshin just 2 hours 💀
It depends on the day for me honestly, but I always struggle with Isshin
As hard as Malenia was with no buffs no cheese builds no cheese weapons no summons and just a strait up 1v1 and balanced melee duel, isshin still stands as the hardest boss in all of soulsborne for me
Yeah I’d have to agree. The tools are in place to defeat her in several ways, but with Isshin, it’s just straight up the hardest fight in the game and the series for me.
@@Soldier1stClass not about the tools you have or anything for me, I used absolutely no cheese in any type of way whatsoever and struggled more on sword saint
Yeah same. I can usually beat Malenia in an hour or less, but the last time I fought Isshin, which was my third time, he still demolished me for HOURS
@@Soldier1stClass wasn’t the same for me, I had by far the hardest time with a boss on isshin first playthrough, now I can beat him in a few attempts but man I will never forget the first playthrough

I see that #1 my fellow man of culture 😎
It has to be him lmao
@@Soldier1stClass there’s no other choice. I agree with your qualifier about #1 and #2 as well
@@wizcatcheslightning this was honestly a tough list because all of these bosses can be the hardest boss of any run for any reason. So I tried to look at them mechanically instead of just popular choice.
@@Soldier1stClass makes sense. You nailed it well! And to your point, Great Ape was painstakingly difficult for me. But Owl Father was way easier for me than Owl
Yeah Guardian Ape beat my ass my first playthrough. Infinitely easier my last time through for platinum. And thanks!!
I actually beat calamit second try with melee on my first playthrough
The Dlc final boss is a lot harder than any of this list boss lmao
This video also came out before the DLC lmao
Im sorry
Issin is not harder then friede gael (who you forgot completly) midir demon of hatred owl malenia radahn in dlc bayle and more
2 things, it's subjective, the other, check the date on the video. The difference between the top 10 is almost minimal until you reach a top 3-5 anyway
in my opinion i think mohg is harder than malenia. i took so many weeks trying to him
And that’s the great part of these games. There’s so many variables and things that people all have different experiences with different bosses.
I managed to refine isshin and make him for me one of the eaiser bosses of sekiro. i fight with agression and it works every time.

Bro didn't even mention inner ishin/ inner father
I understand the struggle with storm king and nameless but I have to disagree and say that the hardest ds3 boss in my opinion would be slave knight gale
Demon of Hatred is way harder then Isshin. Laurence is the hardest boss in Bloodborne.
Wish Elden ring had sekiro mechanics and type bosses
i consider sister friede to be harder than nameless king in DS3 is it just me
isshin took me less time to beat than the omen dude in the castle (am i cooked)
LMAO nah, you’re good
Tutorial boss in Lords of the fallen
I really wanted to love that game, but I walked away disappointed after finishing it tbh.
Very solid list except ishin and nameless king. I think ishin is too high and nameless doesnt belong here.
Malenia is only hard if you try to beat her without mimic or any summon
I would rank malenia as number 3-4 tbh, she’s pretty easy if u counter water fowl dance with freezing pots
Where is Gael?
I never found Gael to be that hard compared to the others on this list. I was able to beat him in a few tries.
Midir at 6 ?? Bro what are you smoking to rank nameless king, kos and malenia as harder ? 😂 the only bosses to rival midir are isshin and dlc radahn...
A lot of this was due to my own experiences. A lot of these could be interchanged on any given day tbh.
Wheres soldier of godrick
It’s hardest bosses. Not “impossible god bosses”
no radhahn?
Check the date of release lmao jokes aside, Radahn would definitely be on the list.
1st Sekiro isnt a soulsbourne for many reasons, 2nd Isshin is way easier than the demon of hatred I never beaten it yet and Ive dealth Ishhin already 3 times
didnt played yet bloodborne DS1 and 2 ,
I bet Radahn, consort of Miquella will be #1 soon, that took me almost 8 hours 2 hours a day in 4 days
after 2 days not getting anywhere using builds I have come up with I have to watch video tutorial of its moves then getting used to and finding a proper weapon
I mean my feet was shaking when I only need to land 2-3 hits.
DLC final boss take place Nr 1 🤣
That’s what I keep hearing lmao haven’t fought him yet though.
Nameless King is so overrated. I defeated him in 2 trys on my first playthrough.
Isshin was pretty easy for me. Beat that mf in like 7 tries and then in my next 2 playthroughs first try both times. Sekiros difficulty is super overrated
Radhan now must me number one right
Not sure yet. Haven’t fought him
promised consort radahn is the hardest by a mile, but the most bullshit boss woud be more accurate and should be a place about Isshin for radahn

slave knight gael got snubbed :(
He’s really hard, but after Sister Friede and Midir, I didn’t feel like he beat either of them on the list. I do love Gael though. A lot.
Gael??????
Didn’t find him that difficult. Especially after beating Midir lmao still one of my favorite fights in all of SoulsBorne though.
You ranking Isshan at number 1 tells me that you don’t understand sekiros combat. He is actually really easy once you get to know the combat
I’m not very good at video games and I don’t have much time to play.
@@davidnewhart2533 okey do that on ng7 Malenia with Shabriri woe with no summons, and that one head piece that make you take more damage

It’ll make Isshan so much easier
Isshan is way slower and easier to see what he’s doing. If you play aggressive towards Isshan he won’t be able to do much
Ngl i beat ishin my 5 try
This sounds really stupid but istg i got too good at fromsoft games because after elden ring and genichiro in the sekrio in ds3 i got every boss in 2 or 1 tries. And nameless king took me about five tries and gael took me 2. Ishiin only took me about ten tries and now hes like my favorite boss ever
Nah there’s definitely skill involved. Especially across entries. When you’re good at reading patterns, hit boxes, and your own movesets, you can steamroll certain bosses that play similar to other bosses. Definitely doesn’t sound stupid.
Like with no summons and no cheese builds? Surprised u didn’t struggle with midir if u went in blindly bec u have to learn his whole moveset and once u learn his moveset u do it right every time
@@dylandooley8494 ive beat elden ring 7 times and without summons or really taht op builds. On ds3 i surprisengly got midir in like 3 or 4 tries without lighting or anything. But i forgot to mentioj i did summon on pontiff cuz i dont really like the two of him thing he does but i got him as a replacement for iudex gundyr on my ds3 randomizer so now i kinda have to deal with him lol
@@dreadlord1265 it don’t rly matter if u summon on pontiff cus it’s not like it’s known to be hard, if u summon on like friede midir or gael or something that’s where it’s pussy
@@dreadlord1265 I didn’t summon on pontiff and got him in 1 try with like a +2 irithyrl strait sword and was like level 50, I was disappointed cus my friend told me he was hard
