Hello from Italy I like how you work, you are clean and precise as I like it. I was watching your video to understand which way the gear selection mechanism is, my tnt125 almost no longer has 1,2,3 gears. Only 4 and 5. I think it's a small problem on the selector or the springs. I understood that it is under the clutch so quite simple, today or tomorrow I will remove the oil and try to dismantle the crankcase. Do you have any idea what it could be? Sometimes the 1,2,3 work but rarely, so it shouldn't be the internal gearbox, just a selector problem. Thank you.

Thank you for watching my video. I cannot answer your question because I do not understand it.

thanks anyway, yesterday I removed the right crankcase but I don't see anything strange, but the gearbox is stuck near neutral. I'm afraid I'll have to dismantle everything... ruclips.net/video/hwxGoGUeOm8/видео.html@@MotorcycleRepair

Hello friends, I have started the rebuild process, what case sealant can you recommend?
also was the original bearing possibly defective.
On the uk forum, we have found that a mixture of tight chain tension and or poor quality bearings lead to failure... all the failures have been 2017-2019 models and any 2020 forward are not breaking down.
interested to hear what you think?

Oh, there was such an issue.
Thank you for giving us good information.
I know that such an issue has not occurred in Korea.

Hi. Can you tell me how to torque the timing chain tensioner? I cant find on the workshop manual how many neutons of torque. Or is it "by feeling"? Many thanks 👍

    • @MotorcycleRepair
      @MotorcycleRepair  2 года назад +1

      Camshaft timing chain tensioner mounting bolt = 10 N·m / 1.0 kgf·m
If you're talking about the flat "clamp bolts" that go in between... these bolts aren't even listed in the maintenance manual.
"Tighten this bolt by feeling. No equipment is used, only hand tightening. It is not a very tight bolt. Tighten it moderately." 😊
