This is great info, I have watched many of your videos and can't thank you enough for this content, it's very helpful. One thing I would love help on and I think would help others is dialing in cranking fuel as well. I know there's another video that covers whether Ford used the Fuel Prime logic or not, however it would be very helpful to see a video on how to dial in cranking fuel. I have not been able to find any videos on this yet and given Ford uses a different measurement in cranking fuel (inj. pw vs. lb/hr), it would be very helpful for a video on that. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for these vids I'm a amateur tuner and have Installed few terminator x systems these little tips make such a difference thank you again
That’s great to hear. Let me know if you have any topics you’d like covered on the terminator tuning. I’m planning to get into some advanced table stuff and more detailed topics soon.
Hey awesome advice! Ive always had that sluggish start and didnt know how to make it a snappy start. This video is 100! Set my crank timing to 12 and start idle to 275 and BAM! Fires off like a rocket ship! Keep em coming!
@@LeechMotorsports cranks just about kills the battery then it will finally start with opening the throttle, but I need to find my vacuum leak too before I get into it further.
If you install a copy of binary editor. You can look at the free gufb strategy with your choice of oem calibration. Once there you’ll want to look st the sea level spark table and the wot timing vs rpm function.

Just awesome things that most everyday people have no clue that this could ever be a potential issue. Again thanks and stay safe and have fun

Good Stuff Bud, keep it coming.
Great video. I'm definitely going to play with this is my car does a decent amount of cranking before it starts. 👍
I have a follow up video to this coming soon to discuss more about the crank to run transition and a few other ideas I have.
@@LeechMotorsports can't wait!!!
Hello Matt again another good video and well explained
Can't wait to try this out!
Love your vids!!! Learning so much!!
The car was the perfect touch
I had no idea what these settings did, now I'll play with it since my battery is trunk mounted and I have a very hard to start car.
Does it have a hard time getting the starter to crank quickly, or is the starter cranking quick but the car just doesn’t want to start very fast?

It may help to slightly reduce cranking fuel or increase idle air duty cycle during cranking at the problematic temperatures.
Great videos 👍👍👍
I went down to 8 deg and 350 rpm ..since, my 331 cranks way faster and starts way much better then befor..
i have a no start i have the battery on the trunk will this be the issue im going to change this settings to 225 rpms see if it runs
Thanks for the great info. Also from where to got the factory ford tune chart for a 5.0L?

I see this on Terminator but where can I change this on my Dominator? I bet this would help my extended crank on Dominator. Thanks
I’ve tried that with mine and it made no difference. My cranking isn’t sluggish, it spins over pretty good but, it just takes 2-3 seconds to fire up.
I wish I had a laptop. The handheld device doesn’t have all these options. The only thing I see is cranking timing and that’s it. Good info though
Yeah the handheld is good for little more than a first start or just being a display gauge in the car. Can’t tune a Holley efi car without a laptop.
Add LS Video from Scratch ❤
Sorry can’t do it. Lol. We know nothing about the LS platform.
