Your sense of proportion, depth, and scale create a gobsmacking realism. You could have done this painting in neon and your sense of proportion, depth, and scale would give it a sense of total realism. What I'm saying is I love you, would you be my father?

I don't know why, but American supermarkets are aesthetically pleasing, I just enjoy looking to see what types of colors they use while my mom goes to get cereal like brown, light brown, red, white (lots of it). nuts and bolts It seems like it was in the late ‘90s when they started trying out the whole “hey why don’t we make this place look nice” idea. Before that it was white or beige everywhere with maybe a “brand” color like red or blue. There’s a nostalgic feel to those beige and red stores, but I definitely go for the dark lighting, wood toned modern stores.

I remember a thing about different temps used in the meat department, which primarily had red merchandise, versus produce, which had a lot of green.

James, thank you and Jeanette for helping me become a painter. I may have a tip that keeps Casein "live" longer than it wants to: a drop or two of glycerin, a humectant, into each paint puddle. I've tested it for a week and with plastic wrap on top of the palette I'm stll able to add water and paint. It takes a bit longer to dry but when it does it is impermeable.
