I was one of 4 black girls in my high school and 2 of my white friends got into the moisturizing thing. 40 years later, I ran into one of them and she excitedly yelled out to me “I still use cocoa butter, I use it on my kids too”. No they don't. Hand lotion? But face is so full of covrrup all day.. they aren't moisturizing their face until after makeup remover... and that is just so the skin doesn't fall off your face after all those petrochemicals.

The other days I'm not out the trackies & flanno pj's so i save it up weekly lol
You two had me laughing so hard. Then my very Caucasian husband walked in and I was laughing so hard I couldn't talk to him. So I played this back and now he's wrecked. Great video!
I'm white and very pale, and since I was a teenager I've put lotion on from head to toe every day when I step out of the shower. Deoderant, lotion, then get dressed. I read an article as a teenager about how lotion keeps your skin from aging as quickly, and my teenage self took that and ran with it! This was hysterical, both the commentary and the comedian, loved it!
I had several black friends in high school and they always teased each other about being ashy. I didn’t think I got that way, as a white person…but I had dry skin. I used lotion every now and then. I started using lotion on a regular basis-I discovered cocoa butter and still use it! Thanks to them!!! It is great to have a diverse group of friends. You learn a lot…
I'm white and obsessive about lotion but there are absolutely many who aren't. One time after surgery but before I'd woken up, I apparently kept holding up my hands, rubbing them together and making a face cause my hands were dry. Lol I've heard a lot of people say they don't like the way lotion makes their skin feel. Hmm, you mean moisturized?!? 🤦♀️ Lol
@@MrSkinnyWhale @MrSkinnyWhale Yeah, I just can't imagine that feeling worse than dry skin tho. I tried getting an ex lotion advertised to absorb right away and not feel greasy. Nope. Whitie here!!! I didn't start using lotion until I was like 15 and my Black friend asked me why I didn't have lotion in my bathroom or basically anywhere in my house, and why I never have (this being like 7 years into a friendship with her). She basically did what Bill's gf did to him and showed me how goddamn ashy I was and HOLY SH** did I get roasted lolllllll. Didn't know I needed to lotion!! And she then did the same thing to every member of my family and educated us that itchy/dry skin means USE LOTION??? Something that, indeed, seems simple-- but to us it was revolutionary. I wondered why I got itchy when the weather changed FOR 15 YEARS and never thought lotion. lmao #oops
He's speaking the truth. I'm 45 and I've never used lotion until I heard this skit. I'm serious. None of my friends throughout my life ever said anything nor I did my parents.
I think more than anything it's especially a guy thing where they don't know. Most girls I know use it, but then again, I also grew up with eczema and sensitive skin, so I ended up needing it more than most. It was common in my house at least XD.
As a latina, I want to add that WE missed the "Don't carry switchblades around" conference just like how black people missed the "Register your weapons" one :D LOL :D subbed - you guys have good chemistry!
Don’t worry as an Englishman my whole country black and white missed the stop stabbing each other conference don’t worry about a switch blade dons walking around with rambos and swords round here 😂😂
OMG, y'all are hilarious!!! I learned about lotion from my first roommate who was black, along with cholesterol to heal a perm in white hair. She also answered my white girl questions that I was too embarrassed to ask anyone else (what does 'black don't crack mean'?) but her. I still love you Kimmy!!!! We don't look ashy, we feel itchy. Shae Butter or Coco Butter works the best!!
That's not surprising. When the pigmentally challenged have a patch of dry skin, it doesn't get that ashy look that it would with darker skin. I'd wager that has something to do with why white folks are more likely to only use sunscreen as their lotion. Personally, I use eucerine on most of the skin that requires healing and Kiehl's on my hands.
I’m a 53 year old “whitey” but I learned about lotion at 16 when a brother on our basketball team was using it and I asked about it. He explained and I’ve used it ever since. I have had fellow “ whiteys” ask about it since then. Lol! We grew up with Archie Bunker, Fred Sanford and George Jefferson my generation doesn’t get offended. He was saying the old hair plugs looked like somebody used ant legs. That’s how bad they looked they looked fake.
Never heard the term ashy until this video. I’m 65 years old. BUT, this put a lot of things in perspective for me.👍 In Jr. High I had a number of black friends whose arms and legs were usually “ashy”, except I always wondered why they looked that way. Lol Now I know. Thank you. This white boy has used lotion all my life, but not to prevent ashiness. Momma taught me it helps me not itch so much.🤷🏻♂️
I so appreciate that you said “please people, stop getting facelifts”. As someone who grew up in Southern California, I never understood why that was so popular. They lose all natural beauty in doing so.
First video I’ve ever watched of yours, and I have to say… the chemistry between you 2 screams best friends, and it’s contagious.I enjoyed your banter as much as I did Bill’s… and that is the best compliment I can give from my point of view.
That’s whats funny. I often wonder why we are sitting here watching reactions. Then I realized we need contagious laughter where we can get it. Especially now.
I just stumbled across this and I just need to throw this out there. I had a Jamaican friend in high school and we got talking one day when she saw me slathering lotion on. She said “Just think of all those poor white folks out there, they don’t even know they’re ashy!” 😂
“William is sometimes shortened to Will too. It is because it was shortened to Will originally, that it became 'Bill': Will(iam) > Bill was, in fact, part of a great 13th-14th century trend of swapping some other letter for the original first letter of a name as rhyming slang.“
40s white guy here. My skin got super itchy this winter and I was like "WTF is wrong?" My (non-white) wife rolled her eyes, handed me her bottle of lotion, and said: "Moisturize, dummy." I didn't believe her, but I took the lotion and gave it a shot. The next day I went out and bought my own. Now I've been using lotion every day for a month. 😂 BTW, Bill Burr lost his hair a few years after this video and just said "Well, "I'm bald" and shaved his head.
I’m light skinned and I had a dark skinned female working for me in the Army. One day she was just slathering on lotion in our platoons area. I remember asking her if she was okay because to me it truly seemed like it was an excessive amount. She just looked at me and asked “Don’t you get ashy?” I must have looked like an idiot to her since I had no idea what she was talking about.
WHITIES!!! That shit killed me. What a great reaction guys. I grew up with a diverse group of friends and we would make racial jokes towards each other all the time. Never trying to hurt anyone's feelings, we were just friends...This is how guys talk. People are too sensitive now.

I'm an Aussie & we do moisturise but with the constant humidity & heat it sweats straight off...in winter (lol we don't get much of a winter, if it's below 25* degrees Celcius then we throw on our trackies & jumpers) i moisture only on Saturdays, as I'm in a skort & sleeveless top umpiring netball & coaching umps to be a national badge just like me. The other days I'm not out the trackies & flanno pj's so i save it up weekly lol
Y'all's chemistry is fucking great. Glad y'all got randomly recommend to me.
Thanks
Same here. . .
Their flow is real natural. I’m a new fan.
I stumbled on you two and I needed this laugh! You guys are hilarious! thank you and God bless.
You two made me laugh so hard! This was great. Liked and subscribed…I need more of you two in my like. Lol
I’m white and I’ve used lotion my whole life. I’m 74 and I look like I’m 72. You guys are funny as hell. 😂
So are you is there a difference between 72 & 4 no disrespect 69 myself he's right mine looks like it's 20..
I'm also white and only use lotion when waxing my dong.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I bet you look at solid 54
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Republicans, Democrats, liberals... Fat people." Lord that killed me! 😂😂
The buffet record was even better Imo 🤪
What's even better is that he looked at his friend first
You two are hilarious 😂. We all should start laughing at ourselves more. Luv your show guys
Yall had me ROLLIN 😂😂😂 Great reaction Brothas!
💯💪🏾
As a 46 year old whitey, I learned about lotion from Bill Burr in this bit. He is speaking facts.
Never watched a comedy reaction where I laughed harder at the reactors than the comedian. Burr is one of my favorites but you guys were Funny
Thanks 💯
Shea butter for this whitey. Obviously given to me by this black dude I was hanging with for a time.
Thank you Willie. Miss you bro.
So true - this is my fav reaction
I agree hey hahaha
Another whitey here, checking in with the "I use lotion" movement too! lol. You guys are funny as hell. Keep the videos coming!
🤜🤛
Love the interaction between you guys. Taking the pi-- out of each other and your laughter is so genuine.
Keep it up guys you are so entertaining.
You two had me laughing so hard. Then my very Caucasian husband walked in and I was laughing so hard I couldn't talk to him. So I played this back and now he's wrecked. Great video!
"Whiiiteeeeeeys" - LOL.
Lots of fun watching you two thanks!
You guys have a chemistry.
I love to laugh.
Definitely worth a sub.
As a 32 year old white man, I can confirm that I almost NEVER use lotion😂😂 Bill is on to something here🤣🤣💯
Your boy screaming whitey!!! I'm white and I laughed my ass off! You guys are killing me!!
"People w records, people without records"...... y'all kill me, I'm dying over here. Lmao, Bill is hilarious and so are you guys. Ty for sharing.
You guys had me cracking up laughing! What fun! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! 💯💪🏾
"Hang out with everybody!"
Very true!
Agreed. I love everybody.
true.....you'll never know what you can learn and how hard you'll laugh as silly sheeeet.
Where have I been??? You 2 are hilarious!!! Thank you for making me laugh. That look when BB mentioned the register your guns summit... I'm dead😂😂😂
You guys are great! Loved this. LOL
That's not surprising, I think it's probably more common amongst black folks just because it's more obvious.
yeah, more of you two! "Whitie" here is laughing my ass off...
Thanks for the love
Entertaining as hell, i look forward to watching more of your vids, whitie out.
Came for the Bill Burr reaction, stayed for interaction between you two. So much fun to watch you guys. Instant subscribe from me. lol
Whitey from dry-ass Colorado. I’ve got a ton of lotion, coconut-grape seed oil combos, and night moisturizer :). Great clip, brothers!
Thanks
I'm white and obsessive about lotion but there are absolutely many who aren't. One time after surgery but before I'd woken up, I apparently kept holding up my hands, rubbing them together and making a face cause my hands were dry. Lol I've heard a lot of people say they don't like the way lotion makes their skin feel. Hmm, you mean moisturized?!? 🤦♀️ Lol
@@staciehenderson6982 they probably mean that first 5-10 minutes before it soaks in and no longer has that "greasy film" feel
@@MrSkinnyWhale @MrSkinnyWhale Yeah, I just can't imagine that feeling worse than dry skin tho. I tried getting an ex lotion advertised to absorb right away and not feel greasy. Nope. He'd only use bar soap too. To each their own I guess. Skin dry enough to leave marks with your nails freaks me tf out tho. 😝🤭
I wondered why I got itchy when the weather changed FOR 15 YEARS and never thought lotion. lmao #oops
Just watched this again. For like 5th time. We miss u guys doing this! Y'all hilarious
Just came across your podcast. Love you guys. It was fun to laugh along with you.
“People with records…people without records….” Whitey here, cracking up and putting a smile on my face for the first time today! Thanks, guys!
Had me in 😭
He's speaking the truth. I'm 45 and I've never used lotion until I heard this skit. I'm serious. None of my friends throughout my life ever said anything nor I did my parents.
Thirty five here. I also started using lotion because of Bill Burr LOL
True.
My white bf was called gay at work because he used hand lotion
@@qine6559 Hopefully his work colleagues were joking with him.
I think more than anything it's especially a guy thing where they don't know. Most girls I know use it, but then again, I also grew up with eczema and sensitive skin, so I ended up needing it more than most. It was common in my house at least XD.
Thanks guys I needed that.
You two are HILARIUS! Love your videos.
I'm straight going to hell for how hard I laughed at the Jackson's.
That was hilarious. We love doing Bill Burr reactions
Get in the fireplace!
As a latina, I want to add that WE missed the "Don't carry switchblades around" conference just like how black people missed the "Register your weapons" one :D
LOL :D
subbed - you guys have good chemistry!
Don’t worry as an Englishman my whole country black and white missed the stop stabbing each other conference don’t worry about a switch blade dons walking around with rambos and swords round here 😂😂
You were likely asleep.
As a hispanic i can guarantee you we missed the only 5 people in a 5 seater car
🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMG, y'all are hilarious!!! I learned about lotion from my first roommate who was black, along with cholesterol to heal a perm in white hair. She also answered my white girl questions that I was too embarrassed to ask anyone else (what does 'black don't crack mean'?) but her. I still love you Kimmy!!!! We don't look ashy, we feel itchy. Shae Butter or Coco Butter works the best!!
Are you dence? 😮😮
Just came across this. You guys are great!
You guys are hilarious. I’m a 53 and white. I definitely missed the lotion seminar and it’s starting to show. 🤷🏻
Love your generation!!! People today are emotional as hell.
Gen X's don't give a damn! They so weak these days.. 🤣
❤️❤️❤️❤️
you guys kill me. I love ya. God Bless!
You are exactly right!
"My weapon is registered, God Damn it!" LOL!!!! I just hit the subscribe button!!! You guys crack me up!!
Y'all are hilarious. I'm so glad I found your channel
"and she showed me,but I didn't know they got ashy" omfg y'all I spit my mf juice out that's so funny to me 💀
I just stumbled across this and I just need to throw this out there. I had a Jamaican friend in high school and we got talking one day when she saw me slathering lotion on. She said “Just think of all those poor white folks out there, they don’t even know they’re ashy!” 😂
😂😂😂
Thank you guys for your humour!
First time watcher, and you guys are HILARIOUS!! I’m dying 😂😂😂
“William is sometimes shortened to Will too. It is because it was shortened to Will originally, that it became 'Bill': Will(iam) > Bill was, in fact, part of a great 13th-14th century trend of swapping some other letter for the original first letter of a name as rhyming slang.“
Thanks for the info.
same with Dick for Richard instead of Rick?
True friends stab you in the front.
You two are cracking me up. 😂
Freaking Ted's holdover commenting.lol Miss your vids
they have to have been in the wars together to banter like this
Love that saying 😎👍💯
Love this, good chemistry. Subscribed!
Lol you guys are hilarious. The buffet record got me. Lol
40s white guy here. My skin got super itchy this winter and I was like "WTF is wrong?" My (non-white) wife rolled her eyes, handed me her bottle of lotion, and said: "Moisturize, dummy."
I didn't believe her, but I took the lotion and gave it a shot. The next day I went out and bought my own. Now I've been using lotion every day for a month. 😂
BTW, Bill Burr lost his hair a few years after this video and just said "Well, "I'm bald" and shaved his head.
I watch a lot of reaction videos. You two are the only people that have made me laugh harder than the comedian. You're hysterical. Love it.
Thanks 😏
Same here. Your remarks and comebacks made me laugh so hard that my skin changed color for a few minutes, now I'm back to being a whitey 🙂
I swear (whitey here) I’ve just discovered you two - never laughed so much 😂
Glad you both have a sense of humor even about each other. Too many people get too serious over friendly jokes. Great reaction.
You guys make me laugh, I love it.💜
You guys are funny as hell, I was dying hearin you crack on each other
thanks
ME TOO! THIS FRIENDSHIP IS COOL!
@@LuisRamirez-ed1gt thanks
I’m light skinned and I had a dark skinned female working for me in the Army. One day she was just slathering on lotion in our platoons area. I remember asking her if she was okay because to me it truly seemed like it was an excessive amount. She just looked at me and asked “Don’t you get ashy?” I must have looked like an idiot to her since I had no idea what she was talking about.
love this keep them comin
You guys are great!
WHITIES!!! That shit killed me. What a great reaction guys. I grew up with a diverse group of friends and we would make racial jokes towards each other all the time. Never trying to hurt anyone's feelings, we were just friends...This is how guys talk. People are too sensitive now.
You guys are hilarious. I'm laughing my ass off at you guys trashing each other
We do this 24/7 😂 thanks for the comment 💯
I love your message behind all the finny stuff. 🙂👍
Love your show and attitudes. God Bless
As a whitey..like bill said. We can’t see it, so it doesn’t occur to us. There are many occasions where I can scratch my arm and see white “ashy” lines.. just never a part of my regiment growing up. Very interesting.
Love your guys reactions!
When Big Boone leaned back and yelled, “Whydaaaayz!!” I laughed so damn hard I popped a blood vessel in my eye!!!!😂😩🤣😆🤪😜. Then when JT looked at him as if that might offend some white folks just made it all the funnier, but there was no offense taken at all - I couldn’t stop yelling’ “Whydaaaayz!!” and then cracking up the rest of the night🤣😂😅so glad I found this channel!!!😁
You guys are great. Love your conversations and digs....whitey here and love my shea butter....
This is a yr old reaction video! Just stumbled upon it.. you guys have some friendship! reminds me of exactly how my friends and I are.. we be clowning each other, roasting each other, trolling each other and etc.
You got an additional subscriber! Keep being yourselves & we’ll keep on watching! Much love from the Philippines🤙✌️👌
I literally learned the word ashy from this bit lol. I'd use lotion if I got really dry in the winter and my skin would start to crack, but moisturizing didn't become a regular thing until I was 30.
I mean I knew lotion was good for you, but at the same time, I was like Bill, why am I so itchy in the winter lol
@@gimpyrules6714 dude I just thought I had like a skin condition, cause my whole body turn red when I shower in the winter... turns out, I'm probably just an idiot for not using lotion
Exactly 💯 haha
@@viktorbirkeland6520 well that could be a skin condition or you're water is a little hot there bud lol
And also just dry skin lol
@@viktorbirkeland6520 how can you stand it? Dry skin is painful, painful I have to slather it with lotion.
That "you got a record, you go to any buffet they know" made me laugh friggin hard as hell
You guys rock first time. I checked you out prayers From the New Jersey pines.
You guys are awesome, I love your friendship! New subscriber. And Bill Burr is funny AF too.
