This video is a little treasure trove of valuable advice. I’m almost 50 and have long since left the workplace behind but I remember using these same strategies when I was young and motivated. I was also extremely carefree and not afraid to speak my mind and say the things I knew the interviewers wanted to hear. Having confidence and curiosity were probably the two factors that helped me land jobs. Also, my father gave me some advice when I was young that always stuck with me.
There are three kinds of people in this world: people who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and people who wonder what happened.

Codie is 100% correct about not staying a company more than 2 years. I’ve never stayed at any company more than 2 years. I’m 30 years old and got my first developer job 5 years ago at 70k. After one year they have me a 3 percent raise. I threatened to quit 6 months later and they have me a 12k raise. I left 6 months later and got my second job with a 10k increase. After 1.5 years I jumped ship again and got a 20k raise. I threatened to quit 1.5 years later and got another 15k raise which took me to 130k annually. Today I start a new job and I just got a 135k raise. Now I’m at 260k. I plan on saving at least 100k this year. It was hard to get to this point but I feel like saving the money will be easy. Never stay anywhere to long

Early saving and investing money creates compounds growth, it's a beautiful thing. But it takes focus and discipline. You need to be focused enough to commit to a plan and a
process.I’m a dividend investor, my wife and I have invested in the s&p500, both through my TSP with the government and through fidelity in her 401-k. Cashed out 370k from the S&P and invested with a full service broker.. Until about 3years ago we were 100% in the s&p after over 30 years. I’m retiring at the end of the month at 59, while my wife will retire next year at 54. We currently have 5.7 million in out tex deferred savings.

So many things to resonate with - early 2000 entry level salary numbers (uff), hopping and chasing highest returns on your time, party school stigma - yup, WVU grad here . I'm about 15/yrs post gradate with an investable 100k. To do that in 3 years is impressive, to do it in 15... well you can say I took on some not so profitable jobs, pivoted, and dumped a fair amount into NYC's money pit.

That jumping every 2 years conversation is one I just had with my roommate a few nights ago. He was worried about a family member because they were moving to another company to do the same job and the new company was smaller than the old one. He was also worried that it was too soon. I told him pretty much what you said: if the new company is offering more, you go. Company loyalty is old school thinking. If you have to jump every couple of years to get the raise you deserve, you gotta do it. Your experience of 2 years at X and then another 2 at Y is still 4 years of experience if it's in the same field. Go get your worth, corporate isn't going to hand it to you.

Other advice is do everything you can to get multiple offers. This is also a really good way to leverage competition between the offers. Lets say offer 1 is 70K and offer 2 is 75k. You can usually get 80 on the table by saying the other company has a higher offer.

Despite the huge drop in crypto and fx, I still make good withdrawals. I don't believe that profit making is not possible despite the drop in stocks when you got good mentorship

Really? I met her once too but we met in a trading program in Australia, I even thought I'm the only one she has helped work through the fears of failure in the global market

I'm from south Africa, I heard about her too on RUclips and I connected with her, right now she manages my investment and I trust my investment only with Mrs Erin Mary

The fact that I was able to withdraw without any issue is what I love about trading with Mrs Erin Mary

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
