@@AfterthoughtTV that's not true lol, if your opponent messes up it isn't hard. I'm 1300 and I've had >99 accuracy if my opponent blunders early. Very helpful and encouraging. My takeway- learn from the analysis what I can understand and don't sweat what I can't. The lightbulb moment for me was when Levy said the game was well played because there were no blunders. Now *that* I can take to the bank! When I look at my moves the engine says were blunders its easy for me to see them. So rather than continue to try to decipher the mathematical spew of the analysis I am committed to analyzing every game for blunders and will try not to make them again.
The way you speak, the way you teach, the way you express with gestures are the reasons that I'm daily coming back to your channel. You are a great teacher of the CHESS.
The funny thing is I’ll have 95 score games with multiple blunders and missed wins by virtue of the fact that I made only the easy, natural moves in an endgame that lasted an eternity.

20:30 i saw the d4 move, and saw it for the right reasons. I literally yelled in happiness. Also great, great video, thanks
when a 1044 rated player makes a brilliant move
Ikr I'm a 1200+ rated player and I don't think I have ever made a brilliant move
I'm ~1600 and I've only done it once
1950 and only twice lmao, I think it's based on whether the computer could find it in a certain amount of time or not!
I’m a 600 and have done it twice 😭
@@ritikjain6956 Why 😭? That's impressive

my reactions when i see my game analysis:
lmfao
Bros got the warden pfp
2:28 that is why computer says it is a 'good' move levy xD
I just finished the analysis of a game I lost online. It was my first. real analysis, with written notes and so on.
It took me like 3 hours, but for the first time I feel I really learned something from a lost match: I made the same error 3 times.
Thanks for this video that inspired me and also gave reeeeally helpful hints and tips about the topic.
I promised myself I'll always analyze every game I play!
Best video on game analysis that I have ever watched. Great vid.
Not gonna lie, I saw this video and I was like...does Levy think we are noobs, and then I had the moment of ohhhh wait...ohhh I am a noob when I was clicking through lol
Should have titled it "Engine Roast"instead , love the vids levy
bruh Razorlike got banned for cheating lol
Even Levy himself can't play that good lol, obvious cheater
It felt really cynical, but when I saw that accuracy I thought 'What if he is a cheater?'. Kinda sad really!
Sorry but nobody plays 99.5 accuracy... pretty obvious cheater
@@AfterthoughtTV that's not true lol, if your opponent messes up it isn't hard. I'm 1300 and I've had >99 accuracy if my opponent blunders early. Of course, as you get higher, your opponent is better, but so are you- if you know opening theory and your opponent blunders the knight, as razorlike's opponent did, then it is by no means impossible to get 99.5 accuracy without using any computer at all.
@@AfterthoughtTV thats not how it works, if the opponent makes a ton of blunders then 99 percent accuracy isnt cheating, but if the opponent played at an 80 percent accuracy then its likely cheating
This makes me feel better ,today i played my first brilliant move and after i saw the analysis i was shocked ,i had 3 innacuracies,0 mistakes,0 blunders,0 missed wins and 1 brilliant move ,it felt so good that i did a screenshot ,i was so proud
I Mean Brilliant Moves Not That Hard
Very helpful and encouraging. My takeway- learn from the analysis what I can understand and don't sweat what I can't. The lightbulb moment for me was when Levy said the game was well played because there were no blunders. Now *that* I can take to the bank! When I look at my moves the engine says were blunders its easy for me to see them. So rather than continue to try to decipher the mathematical spew of the analysis I am committed to analyzing every game for blunders and will try not to make them again.
I actually never got the "legendary double !! Briliant move" :))))
I got it ones in a crazy Grand Prix attack, sacrificing a ton of material to checkmate, it was really nice
I got it once when I was under attack and found a move with the queen that defended a few things at once
That thumbnail is visually pleasing
I learned a lot. Might pick up chess
It's a great game, I recommend it.
The way you speak, the way you teach, the way you express with gestures are the reasons that I'm daily coming back to your channel. You are a great teacher of the CHESS.
love your videos! You inspired me to get better at this game
The funny thing is I’ll have 95 score games with multiple blunders and missed wins by virtue of the fact that I made only the easy, natural moves in an endgame that lasted an eternity.
that third game seemed to go by too quickly. a lot to learn!
After watching this I played a game with 93.5% accuracy
Nice!
after watching I played 100% accuracy and spit on who I played.
joke don't sue me
Love all your content, but for some reason this was one of my favorite. The parts where you're wondering what the computer is thinking really hits home.
Good video Levy, you manage to be informative and entertaining at the same time.
i don't even play chess but I'm watching this.. what am i doing with my life
You should start chess then!
The last time I was this early Levy wasn’t an IM
Why does everyone spell it wrong
@@Le_g3nd Idk
@@Le_g3nd probably attack on titan
Thank you Levy, this really helped demystify the AI-suggested moves!
1:22 “and now d6 and the computer at this point i will say this “you need to not rely so heavily on the computer because the computer doesn’t fully understand openings”” not only that when i analysed my game a did a “brilliant” move it went down so much and once it said hanging a queen was excellent
My Computer Analysis
Trade = Blunder
Setting up a Trap = Mistake
The only move that looks like it prevents getting mated = Inaccuracy
Taking a hanging Queen = Missed mate in 69
Move that does f***ing mothing = OMG BESTEST MOVE EVER WOW!!!!!!!!!!
