Really thinking about ordering one of these. Seems like more of a pavement machine? Would imagine feel every bump riding on grass/dirt? Would you say definitely go with a torque converter versus standard centrifugal clutch?
I have 100 times more fun on grass and dirt with my trike than on the road. Yes you feel bumps, but it's not untolerable. I'd say it's a easier yard ride than a go kart or mini bike. Definitely go torque converter. Takes a little getting used to, but soooo much more power and speed.
This particular trike is hard to do a slow soft turn. But my newer green sfd trike has the updated redesigned frame and does low speed turns so easily. I really should do a new vid and show all the improvements they've made since this blue trike.
Looked at your videos and SFD site doesn’t explain it. How big is the gas tank and on avg how much run time or miles do you think you get out of the trike?
Gas tank is small, holds maybe a gallon. But these 212 motors don't burn fuel quick. I know I've personally rode mine into town for a parade(about 6 miles) drove it thru the parade, and rode it the 6 miles back. I still had plenty of gas left. Plus I'm sure if you called them and told them you want a bigger gas tank, they could make that happen on your trike build.
Such an awesome review! How much total shipped to you. What options did you go for on your bike? Last, how comfortable is it for long rides? How tall are you?
I believe I paid around $4400 total for it, but I've had it awhile and don't remember the exact number. I got the headlight and powdercoated wheels. The longest I've ever rode it for is about 2 hrs straight, it was awesome. But definitely takes a lot of upper body strength(heck go watch my video of ripping it on rocky trails and mudding with it lol) it's about as comfortable as any other mini machine with no suspension, i lowered the tire pressure and even took it off a lil jump. I'm 6'3" and it's super comfortable size wise.
It literally would cost you about 3200 dollars maybe more they make I'd say maybe 300-500 profit on the basemodels until you start adding on to them or get their v twins the. You could just build it your self and save 5k cause they want 7500
That 180 into a wheelie tho 😍.
Here because of your FB post! Nice vid!!

@@BigSendLittleSend Awesome. Appreciate the reply / info 👍
Can you do a soft turn with that without the differential axle? Or it just drift when turning?

Looks like a lot of fun. Gotta get me one

@@BigSendLittleSend what is the width of the trike on the rear tires from left to right?
The machine looks great .
Why doesn't anyone make a 26 inch street tread tire? What size motorcycle tire will fit a 26x4 rim?
I’m looking to buy one. The price is crazy but it’s so sexy
I love mine, I've beat the literally sh!t out of mine and it keeps on taking it. Hell I took it rock crawling and mudding 2 weeks ago lol

@@BigSendLittleSend super! Thanks for your quick response! What tire pressure is recommended and what did you lower them to?
@@mchevownr not sure reccomended pressure, they were at about 15 psi when I got it, I dropped em down to 8 psi when I was driving up mountains lol
@@BigSendLittleSend Ah ok! Thanks so much. Love the color choices you chose on your mini trike. How has the durability been as of today?
hey there
i was wondering if u could help me design a electric mini trike i love the sfd trike but its petrol and i would love electric
I don't build trikes
I bought mine already built.
@@BigSendLittleSend but no one builds electric
what i mean is as u have a sfd trike could u help me design the frame like give me the dimensions of it so i can build one thanks
NEEDS A CR480 ENGINE
Yes
Could it be street legal with signals and mirrors?
Have you tested the top speed of it yet? Just curious
I've had it up to 50 mph, felt like it had a lil more in it.
About how fast to these go (top speed)
I've had mine up to 45mph. I bet if you're brave enough and with the right clutches and gearing you could easily do 55 plus.
SURE WISH THERE WAS A SPRING SEAT......MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD BE EASY TO BUILD. JUST AN IDEA. PLEASE DON'T FLIP OUT!!!!!
I have a tgv one too with the spring seat. Doesn't make a big difference really.
@@BigSendLittleSend do you like your TGV trike ? I just bought one and have mixed reviews
I have a question I would like to ask you
Whatsup man?
@@BigSendLittleSend the suspense of the question is building!

Not for 3800
If you built the same thing yourself you'd probably be close to that price by the time you were done with it.

Holy smokes, $4,500 on their website.
