  • On this episode I go fun fishing with my good buddy Fletcher Hallet and we cant seem to keep the red snapper away from us! I am joking when I say they are rare as they are actually overpopulated! Then I switch it up and do some delicious fish and grits on the tugboat!
Used TUGTRASH15 for 15% off everything on the Toadfish website!

Before all the draconian snapper regs were enacted I used to load up fishing out of Ponce Inlet. Hard to watch them going over the gunnels . The blackened snapper with grits and vegetable creamed sauce looked really good. There used to be a little restaurant on the southwest side of the Matanzas bridge that had great clam chowder. This was when I was in law school in Gainesville in mid sixties.

Tug I always use a black cast iron pan to cook the bacon and ham so it can stick to to bottom of the pan that's the taste you want trust after the meat cooks remove it then drain the oil dont wash the pan then put it back on the heat add half cup of black coffee to help release the good stuff on the bottom of the pan then add the veggies add the shrimp when the veggies are at the point you like them then chop the bacon and ham add every thing together and enjoy the meal I hope you like it it's a hit at my house
