Tug I always use a black cast iron pan to cook the bacon and ham so it can stick to to bottom of the pan that's the taste you want trust after the meat cooks remove it then drain the oil dont wash the pan then put it back on the heat add half cup of black coffee to help release the good stuff on the bottom of the pan then add the veggies add the shrimp when the veggies are at the point you like them then chop the bacon and ham add every thing together and enjoy the meal I hope you like it it's a hit at my house
Now I'm hungry. Thanks. 👍🏻 love and look forward to your videos. I'm in big pine key about 30 mins to marathon. Y'all will always be welcome if ya need anything. I'd love to meet ya.
Tug, you are my favorite RUclipsr. You have an air about you that comes off real and genuine. Keep it up!! Keep on grinding and we will keep on veiwing. Thanks for all you do.🙏👍💪

Just made jalapeno, smoked Gouda cheese grits tonight with blackened shrimp and some mang fillets. Shrimp are starting to move a little down here, should be in full swing by time your back in town. Keep up the good work, stay safe brother.
Just got up to date with your vid’s and they are great brother! Hope to see you again for lobster opening in early August around little palm and summerland! Not sure Corey can make it though since he is covered up with business and weddings. Take care and keep on keepin’ on!
We are only gonna get mini season this year but will be in Marathon for two weeks in July. Glad Corey’s business is busy!! Thanks for watching and commenting! New video drops tomorrow at 11am.
Great bite out there, happy to see that.Use to run straight out from the Flagler pier,10 miles.off the chain fishing. Need the fuel though, love your vids!!!
I've fished Matanzas inlet when I was younger. I haven't fished there in almost fifty years. I live about 5 hours away and traveling ain't really my thing. So fish local or fish in Brunswick GA. about once a month. Have fun guys.
Great video Tug! That was some great rare catches. Lol. Your plate of food made me blacken some haddock. Nice job. Congrats on the 20k scribes. Thanks for sharing!!!
Congrat's on your site!,I have been having a bad week, everything is breaking, but seeing a video up gave me something else to think about if only for a little while.
Looked like potatoes in the bin next to the onions could be wrong but onions put off ethylene gas which will make em ripen and go bad quicker . Gotta keep em separated bud . Enjoyed watching yall pull in those snappers lol went fishing yesterday and nothing but bonnet heads black tip and sting rays . Kids caught a bunch of fiddlers once they got bored fishing .
That cooking looks amazing, you are a fabulous cook and fisherman. Great video just stay safe and be careful cooking like that where coonasses or rednecks are known to roam.🎣
Before all the draconian snapper regs were enacted I used to load up fishing out of Ponce Inlet. Hard to watch them going over the gunnels . The blackened snapper with grits and vegetable creamed sauce looked really good. There used to be a little restaurant on the southwest side of the Matanzas bridge that had great clam chowder. This was when I was in law school in Gainesville in mid sixties.
Ian, I have missed seeing you. I loved this. That tug food looks so go. 20000 is just the beginning. The more we share Tug Trash the more you get. God Bless, Sammy
I used too long line back in the day..early 90's..foft myers beach on the woodeye..i would put a box of massive reds, hand lining at night. Those were the days....
Man, that looks good! I have to try that. I love fish n grits and the way you did the veggies, I have to try that also eventhough I'm not a big veggie fan. Thanks for sharing your recipie, I really appreciate you!
I really enjoy watching your videos on your channel and your content all of it hopefully fall or winter will get to see some hunting if you do any hunting I'm watching from Galveston Island Texas and I fish and hunt all over Texas
I have a number of hunting videos if you look back in my history but for some reason the RUclips algorithm doesn’t push them to people. Definitely not going to stop making them though
Hi Tug, congratulations on your one year anniversary. I’ve just come across your channel and have enjoyed your content. Looking forward to retiring to Florida next year and get in on action.
I had an idea that I’m gonna’ try ,but I think it’s good enough to pass along…Save food scraps, fish guts, stale bread, anything edible and grind it…run it through a sausage press and make a bait/ trap sausage out of it…You could wrap it in a piece of pantyhose or mesh bag and use it for cut bait….Might work
Nice fishing - for years I crimped the barbs on my hooks and lost very few fish. Just set the hook and keep the pressure on. Much easier to release or toss back.
I thought Red Snapper only existed in picture books. Wow. A real live one. Don't tell anybody. They'll sell it to the Circus for a lifetime of cruelty.
I’m gonna be on Conch Key for mini season. It’s only 15 minutes from Marathon. Also going for a couple weeks on July 3, too!!!!! Time to bend some rods and catch some bugs. Maybe we’ll run into each other.
Congratulations on 1 year and it doesn't seem that long ago! Hope to look back in 5 years and see you really taking off like DMFD and Bluegabe! P.S. I just slobbered everywhere looking at your plate after just working a 3 day weekend here. ✌️😎
@TugTrashOutdoors you're welcome and thanks for all your hard work to get all of us the videos we love to watch. I'm glad to be one of your first 20,000!
There used to be a guy with a channel called salty kayak who complained all the time about red snapper in Florida. Called them "govamint fish." I enjoyed his videos. Unfortunately his disappeared during the height of COVID. I've always wondered what happened to him.
Excellent video T2...really enjoyed it. Next time add a lil bit of that bacon fat to them grits. That's how Crazy Granny does it and, although she's a complete pain in the ass, her grits are fantastic. 😂
You need to wrap your truck and boat then you can write off most of your expenses and get your name out there great video give your channel I do believe that you will be able to give that party boat job you have !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@TugTrashOutdoors yeah. We always scooped jelly balls and cut them in little slivers. Gotta hide the hook in the jelly pretty good, they’ll get a little hook shy if it’s showing too bad. If they’re deep we hook a whole jelly ball on a big hook and weight and drop it down. When you feel them start feeding on it reel it up slow and the school will follow it to the top. Then we just toss the little pieces to them on some light tackle. Like catching a 10lb bream. Haha.
Fish n grits…. A simple southern staple that’s delicious and relatively cheap. Nice
And so good!
Love your channel..hardworking man like myself.. enjoy everything aquatic.. but you got some culinary skills bro., go ahead with your badass self!!
Thank you!
Yummy. Tugboat eating great on the job. And,,,they need to slack up on the red snapper a little. One per person maybe
Give use a season!
