  • In this episode we fly from Juneau Alaska (PAJN) to Edmonton Alberta Canada(CYEG). We do a departure in marginal weather that requires a visual portion prior to going IMC. In Edmonton the weather is a little nicer but be do a RNP approach that has a nice transition.

Thanks for the flight, great presentation, we have communicated previously assume your a real world commercial pilot?, I flew as a Flt Engineer on B 707’s until redundancy after which worked foe GPA then based in Shannon who became GE commercial aircraft leasing ended up setting up own consultancy company serving airlines and leasing organisations now approaching 70 years, only got into Flt simulation after I had a knee transplant and was confined to barracks etc, really enjoy your videos, have you tried the recent released Cessna 414AW from flight simware? Kind regards and thanks again Charlie ( UK) based.

      Hi Charlie,
Great story, thanks for sharing. I’ve worked with many great FEs in the past, unfortunately those positions have been phased out over the years. Yes, I am a real world pilot but haven’t flown GA aircraft since I did my initial training. It’s been fun flying them in the sim and getting to try new equipment like the G1000 which didn’t exist back when I started. No, I haven’t tried the 414 yet. The reviews look pretty good though.
      Cheers!
