Guys I missed one more step where you can actually reset your air filter replacement interval in Maintenance settings of the radio. Please don't forget to do that.. it's super easy to do it and easy to locate. Just click on maintenance reset and locate air filter option
Thanks for the instructional video! I am needing to replace the air filter in my 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid, but when I looked under the hood I thought I better watch somebody do it first! Great video!
Thank you for the video. I did this on my crv hybrid and curse so many times because when I unscrew the housing, I unscrew it completely and of course it fell under. I didn't know that you can just unscrew half way and it will hold like that!
Yes I did this mistake before until I realized that pretty much every car screw on air filter cover, screws have double threads, and don't need to be removed all the way
I was thinking about it lol. It's fairly easy to use just like your regular pump. Just do not press the button to release the foam that in the can for tire repair
It may not be to hard to get cover off but not as easy as most cars most of the time you could lift up and slip new one in the box now you have more steps
Any thoughts on the hybrid battery filter? Unlike the RAV4, the CRV doesn't have an air filter for the Hybrid battery (what I have gathered so far). And most of RUclips mechanics suggest keeping the Battery air filter clean for longer battery life and I wonder how that can be done on a CRV?
@@IvanRossS Toyota calls it the hybrid battery fan filter. It's under the rear seats, I assume. Which filters the air that cools the hybrid battery making it last longer. I have seen videos of people cleaning and that filter is filthy, with dust, pet hair, dust etc. Without that filter all that will get to the battery and burn it quicker.
Hi, thanks for video! Can you tell me where can I find the engraved VIN number/ frame number? On the 2017-2022 model, it used to be under the front passenger floor mat. I looked under the hood but no luck. According to the owner's manual there is only 2 places (driver's door and in front the dashboard). I even asked the dealership but no one was able to provide an anwser! Thanks again.
Literally just did this 31k on mine so far. Paid 20 bucks for the filter after going to like 7 places to get it I refuse to pay 75 bucks that the dealer wanted
Damn you already put the 31k on you car??? They just came out!!!!. I got mine in January where did you find aftermarket filter I could not find it. My local dealer charged me $42 for filter out of the door.
Rock Auto has them I get all my parts from them. $15.96 for engine filter and $7.00 for OEM cabin/AC filter. They have a micro filter for $12.00 Just bought my Hybrid Sport in July 10. Still at 300 miles.
@@edgarces8false. If he has a hybrid it’s not even the same fluid as the turbo, and even if you have the 1.5T the CVT fluid likely doesn’t need to be changed yet. The maintenance minder would tell you.
Strange.... you do have to change them obviously lol. And I would not even look at the manual... it's not telling you a lot of things. Is just owner manual, it's not a mechanic manual, a lot of people do not understand that.
@@IvanRossS I aslo has CRV hyrid 2024 Sport L. Did you have Vtec solenoid Oring leak. I had this problem ar 4700 mile. Now I have paint peeling inside driver side next to door panel
No . Need whole new one. You can't replace bulb in it.. I already look. Was gonna do video on it. Same thing with a tail lights you cannot replace them besides turn signal lights.
Shouldn't this be covered under maintenance? I am not sure though. This is my first new car. They said we get 1 or 2 years of complimentary maintenance.
Not at all lol. Unless you have pepaid maintenance package! Or whatever special your dealer was running at the time bought it. Another great how to video Ivan!
Thank's for doing it.
Thank you! You tell and show very easily and accessible, like a professional master!
Respect!👍
Great video, short & to the point. FYI, my 2024 CRV has an identical filter layout. Many thanks!
Thanks for these videos they will come in handy

No clamp on the hose ? Its just a push in deal ? Thanks for all your vids 👍
Damn. Why did Honda make it so hard to inspect and change now. And you need a tool for this? Come on Honda
A screwdriver lol
Hello, can you please show how to use the tire inflation kit? I hope you can make a video for it. Thank you 🙏👊

Great video - it is a pain to do just because of the location and lack of space. Not a big deal every 25 or 30K for me
Hey thanks you for the video. Also how do you change the air cabin filter for 2023 CRV hybrid ?
I have video on that too lol. Don't take much to reacerch on my channel
Can you show How to change CRV hybrid Transmission Fluid 2023 .🙏
Great video. Thanks. Can you post the part number?

Do u know where the battery filter is?
Nice video, I have a question, i just picked up mine 2024 Crv hybrid, is there a separate hybrid battery filter?
There is . Not removable. Gotta take whole rear seat out

I have no idea. I do not know anything about older models, I never had CRV before
Thank you for the video. Do you have the part # for the cabin air filter on 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport?
It's in the description lol
I said cabin air filter, not the engine. LOL@@IvanRossS
Hi, do you plan on adding FOG LIGHTS to your CRV at any time?
Yes yes yes I really really need them but I cannot find kit or anything about them
How about the cabin filter that's important too.
It's a little bit too early. I do it once a year. And there is video already out there

What was the price for the filter? Why we can't find it from Amazon?
I literally explained this on the beginning of the video..... smh
I screwed up on my screw it’s so hard to remove. I spent 2 hours how could yours so easy to unscrew….
I have no idea what you did wrong these screws never coming out all the way out they're meant to stay in a top cover...
You forgot to blow the inside for debris and dust.
It was non lol. Smh. I only had 8,000 Mi on my car at the time
