  • In this video, I upgrade the stock oil cooler to the doghouse style oil cooler plus install the fuel pump and the alternator/oil breather.

    Hoping you see this before continuing..
    The seals that go in there are the ones you showed second, not the ones you had there.
    The Bentley book or Muir will tell you, I'm almost 100% correct.
    BTW, the 043 is just a part number. The number you are looking for is under the generator/alternator stand. That is the serial number.

      You’re talking about the mushroom looking seals? They go between the mount? Not the barrel ones?

      The tin is still off at this point. It won’t be a problem switching them.

      Use the thins ones on all 4 holes.

      U forgot the hoover tin that go's on the 2 studs on the cooler itself

      I just received some chromoly cut to fit pushrods to help with rocker geometry. Hopefully that helps.

    Watching everyone's videos on these can get you mixed up on what you need to do for your year motor and model. It's best practice to go with the book and if a modification then change it up.

      Agreed, totally. The videos are good for a basic overview for sure but you’re right, the actual manuals are probably the best resource for the correct information.
