Fast forward to almost turning 40 after spending over jeesh 20 years with this man, I was done. And yes, someone else had caught my eye before we divorced. We had already separated, but still , after years of him not seeing me- it was not hard to walk away. There was no 50/50. Ive been starved of attention. God made it so, in the beginning i had withdrawals and it made me feel unseen and I had to go to a place of healing. No alimony, no child support, awesome coparenting situation, he pays my bills while I go back to school. He has the kids when school is too hectic. Open door policies. But that’s not something to throw around, just because you wanna throw it around, what you do is you put hard distance between you and him and right now during this season of your life with this person you focused on your child and you focus on your mental well-being you go to counseling if you believe in it which I do and you go to counseling to get help in a space that is OK for you to talk about your problems and your feelings and your issues and you sort it out over there. And you work on yourself. At the end of the day you have to be a happy person. You have to be a happy content person so you can raise his happy Beautiful precious child. Whether he’s being a butt hole or not, you have to find a way with those steps, I told you eventually to find your own happiness. But the blessing I got out of it I have my beautiful, healthy child who brings me so much joy that if it wasn’t for him, I would not have. So I only speak from where I’m at and where I have been. @@LarennPBel I appreciate your response and yes I read everything :) That is actually what I am doing, trying to " give it time" maybe things will adjust themselves but in the meantime I am quietly studying to be a medical provider on a grant and I am 3 years away. When I am spoken down to and crying and feeling isolated, I remind myself this isolation keeps me focused on my studies, I raise my children during the day, and do my homework all night listen to youtube in between. I do not talk much about my studies out loud so nobody around me can put me down here or make me feel bad about what I'm striving for. Like you said, we put distance between ourselves and others, I have already began that when I saw a shift in character immediately after giving birth. When I am getting yelled at, ignored or being told all the things I do wrong as I'm crying my eyes out holding our baby, I think about what our lives could be after I get my license to practice as a provider, if he is nicer and more loving we can have a beautiful life together....if this continues then I have my career to fall back on to support my household independently. I had imagined myself spoiling him and take him traveling as my forever thank you for being my support during my long educational journey, but now I'm not so sure I feel that way. And a lot of time the other person doesn’t know their partner feels neglected and all it takes is for them to communicate how they feel and if that person truly loves and cares about their partner they will make sure to correct it and make them feel loved. He never told me he loved me or I looked nice. His eyes were roaming, giving other women attention, even at office parties or outings. Fast forward to almost turning 40 after spending over jeesh 20 years with this man, I was done. And yes, someone else had caught my eye before we divorced. We had already separated, but still , after years of him not seeing me- it was not hard to walk away. There was no 50/50. You may not put distance right now today, but you eventually put distance between you and him and when you get your thoughts together and you’re by yourself and you’re looking at yourself and you’re looking at your child And you’re thinking about the things that he’s unsaid to you whether it being insulting mistreatment just not treating you in a kind manner you will then put up your boundaries and make sure they’re hard boundaries and you won’t put up with it no more maybe the wake up call will be telling him when you decide and have your ducks in a row that you want to divorce. But that’s not something to throw around, just because you wanna throw it around, what you do is you put hard distance between you and him and right now during this season of your life with this person you focused on your child and you focus on your mental well-being you go to counseling if you believe in it which I do and you go to counseling to get help in a space that is OK for you to talk about your problems and your feelings and your issues and you sort it out over there. And you work on yourself. At the end of the day you have to be a happy person. You have to be a happy content person so you can raise his happy Beautiful precious child. Whether he’s being a butt hole or not, you have to find a way with those steps, I told you eventually to find your own happiness. And after you find your own happiness and time has went by and you see nothing has changed and I mean and reason of amount of time like let’s say you decide to stay with him another two years, and he still being the same way he got worse you know that there is a line drawn and you do not have to accept because how you will be acting or feeling your child will sense see. And do not let this person mistreat you in front of your child do not let anyone mistreat you in front of your child. I made my peace with and I’m actually happier on the other side and I think think that could be because I loved him so much. He was one man that I can say I think I loved him the deepest and I loved him the hardest, so that heartbreak hurt even more. But the blessing I got out of it I have my beautiful, healthy child who brings me so much joy that if it wasn’t for him, I would not have. So I only speak from where I’m at and where I have been. @@LarennPBel I appreciate your response and yes I read everything :) That is actually what I am doing, trying to " give it time" maybe things will adjust themselves but in the meantime I am quietly studying to be a medical provider on a grant and I am 3 years away. When I am spoken down to and crying and feeling isolated, I remind myself this isolation keeps me focused on my studies, I raise my children during the day, and do my homework all night listen to youtube in between. I do not talk much about my studies out loud so nobody around me can put me down here or make me feel bad about what I'm striving for. Like you said, we put distance between ourselves and others, I have already began that when I saw a shift in character immediately after giving birth. When I am getting yelled at, ignored or being told all the things I do wrong as I'm crying my eyes out holding our baby, I think about what our lives could be after I get my license to practice as a provider, if he is nicer and more loving we can have a beautiful life together....if this continues then I have my career to fall back on to support my household independently. I had imagined myself spoiling him and take him traveling as my forever thank you for being my support during my long educational journey, but now I'm not so sure I feel that way. A guy as a joke once told me i have "really pretty eyes" when i literally dont. He was fooling around, but those words stayed. Men think being born as a woman is all rainbows and butterflies but its not. I dont want to sound less priviliged or anything. I know we both have our own struggles in life.
But its completely false that we are always getting compliments wherever we go...and even if we do, we also know the intentions behind it. Whether its heartfelt, a tease or a joke. We dont always have several friends to talk to or are close to other girls. Some girls are alone. We too feel sadness, lonliness, and unworthiness.
On top of that when men act so careless and clueless about their female partners, it shatters us🥀Please give time to your partner. That is all she really wants. She doesnt care about your looks or your money. The only thing a girl ever wants is for a guy to look at her and appreciate her and everything she does for him. Its that simple.

And a lot of time the other person doesn’t know their partner feels neglected and all it takes is for them to communicate how they feel and if that person truly loves and cares about their partner they will make sure to correct it and make them feel loved. And if they express how they feel and the other person ignores it then maybe it’s time to leave the relationship. That being said cheating is never ok and is unacceptable. There will NEVER be a good “excuse” for anyone to do that to someone period
