The wig cap/fishnets to do sfx/mermaid makeup actually works really well, but much better when you tap/blot on the powder over it rather than rub/brush. Just depends on how defined you want the lines and how fine of a mesh you use

I’ve actually seen the almond trick but it’s not for eyeliner it’s for putting the oil on your lashes and your eyebrows to help promote growth.. I think it was ancient Egyptians that used to use burnt corks for eyeliner. My favorite make up RUclips channel. She does ancient times/old beauty hacks.
Burnt almonds used to be used as makeup way back then. I made some myself and it really does work. Even more when mixed with sesame oil.
Apparently, there's a fine line between fashion and psych ward.
The double lips actually worked out really well. And the fishnet thing was a cool effect. Not a "go out in public" effect, but still...
