@@natskar the difference between the VX and the comp Q is that the Q has 1-2mm more excursion and is 1100 rms while the VX is only 1000. The VX has an fs of 26 while the comp has an fs of like 29 . The Q has a lower sensitivity and more xmax but the VX has more motor force . And what people don’t know is that the VX has a more motor force than most sundown subs which is why you can run them full power at maximum box size (6 cubes) . People talk shit about kicker but comparatively kicker is on par with a lot of popular subs. If they ever took the VX motor and made a high excursion sub out of it with the same FS and a higher rms power rating it’ll hold its own against any sub . I should say I’m referencing the 15” version of the comp VX and comp Q. Comp Q is definitely SQ and the VX would be SQL . Then the L7 would bet he ultimate combination of both the VX and comp Q.
Damn if a q class 10 is hitting that low, I know 2 12's is gonna hit even lower. Now I know what my next set of 12's are. I got the new CVR's right now and I love them, I know I gonna love the q class when I get them💯

The description say 2.25 cu ft. That's not a big enclosure. Kicker recommends larger ported enclosures than many sub companies and one beats hard even if you don't have a trunk full of Kickers

Man I live hella far away but how much would it cost me for u to design a big ole custom box for my dodge Dakota? It's for 2 12 inch Alpine type Rs on 3100 watts clamped. I've got it in a solid prefab enclosure that's tuned way up to something like 40hz and it doesn't slam the lows the way ide like, I've gotta have my high pass filter up or else they bottom out bad in that box. Just a shot in the dark but have you ever flat packed a unassembled subwoofer box for a customer through the mail? I just live in northern Maine so getting any sort of enclosure up here is a real painusintheanus

To answer the epicenter part don’t think it will affect it much but a low 30s tuning will probably work out the best. But you can basically turn off the effect of the epi with the knob. 30-33 might be your best range for tuning I want to think

@@paquesepas6696 full. It stated it in the manual. I could be wrong but you can set your subwoofer out on your head unit to give you a full range. Reason being the epi takes notes from higher harmonics to recreate a lower frequency so you need full, however you still need crossover points set on your amplifier. Hope that helps

I'm salty over kicker because their products don't hold up,,, I had to L7's 15 on a Fosgate 1100,2 and they lasted a whopping 15 seconds befor the coils popped out of the Gap and landed on the pole a defect that they still haven't fixed,,, that I'm aware of,,, they were dual 4 15s in a sealed box wired back to 4ohm I shouldn't have been able to hurt those Subs they would not fix them under warranty so my personal opinion on it is for me there no good expensive junk
It wouldn't fix them under warranty because the voice coils were burned which I explained to the geniuses happened after they popped out of the gap and we're stuck Motionless
If you blown them up ,,,nobody else wants to fix them except for kicker so you're left with a big pile of smoking junk that's a big reason why they're not the number one selling speaker on the market you're going to pay their price to fix it or else,,,, doesn't sound like a company that's worried about their customers facts not fiction
