It's always impressive to see such a collection but at the same time I think its really incomplete without a display of different basalts :)
LOL, Jared, you made me laugh before 9 a.m.!
This is an amazing show! Thank you for bringing us along with you on your adventures! I appreciate your hard work and passion. Petrified wood is my favorite, those were outstanding!
Wasn't it COOL?!
What a fabulous display! We are so happy for you. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Beautiful examples, what a collection! It still amazes me that something that big and fragile looking isn't destroyed when its plucked from mother earth.
I agree!
ooohhh, I wish I had at least SOME of those beutiful crystals. I LOVE crystals, nature can create such a beutiful crystal, those patterns and colors, YEZZ.❣❣

Thanks for coming along. :D
Thank you! That is a beautiful exhibit!
Generous generous share Katy, thank you very much!
:) Thanks for watching!
My best rock tip is never ignore ugly rocks, a gem maybe hiding underneath that unappealing thing.
Very Cool! Thanks for the museum trip Kate! 😊❤️
Thanks for joining me!
Oh wow Katie, thank you so much for sharing this with us, I can’t even begin to choose a favourite, everything is just so beautiful.
Thank you so much x

I had never seen stibnite before this video. How magnificent is that big piece.
So many gorgeous finds. I am not a city girl but that place is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
It really is a remarkable place.

I will most likely never get to NYC so I very much appreciate your giving us a tour. As you say, “So many beautiful rocks!” 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a great collection.
On CBS Sunday Morning today there was a segment on this place! I knew that's where you were going because you told us you were in New York City!! Fantastic! I'm so happy for you!
Nice! I was pretty impressed, I must say.
Love this, Kate you are such a gem, your dialogue is priceless. Thank you for sharing. It was like I was there. I learned so much. (Lol, 3 thumbs up) w
Just wonderful.
Thanks for letting us tag along! Bisbee is one of my favorite places here in Arizona! I hope you get to visit soon!
Amazing video! They were all awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! :)
Holy moly! Now THAT is what I call “eye candy”! That must have been an amazing experience! I have to many gem and mineral shows and saw some spectacular specimens, but the tallest amethyst vug I ever saw was “only” 8 feet tall. That specimen they have defies the imagination!
It was pretty amazing!
Thanks! Fantastic! 😊
Awesome place thank you 😊
You had a good time in NYC I see. Thanks for the tour. I loved them all!
NYC is fun in so many ways.
Wow that was fun, even if it was NYC. I remembered again why I stopped figuring out what kind of rock something is and just started calling them pretty rocks (pr) and leaverites. I never had an argument about what kind of the rock it is, ever again. They were all beautiful. Thanks for sharing and glad you made it home ok. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Thanks, Kate!!
You're so welcome! :)
Thanks Katy, that was amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I don't know if I will ever make it to the AMNH, so thank you for sharing this wonderful video. Such amazing specimens!!! 💚
So glad!
STUNNING!!!
I agree. :) I could hardly catch my breath.
Since that is something I’d never see, thank you so much. Fascinating
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank You 😀🤗💐
Thank you! :)
Very cool video!!
Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for visiting.
Great vlog! Enjoyed it Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Kate, thank you so much for taking us along on this adventure! That is my kind of museum. Two questions: how long did you spend there/how much of it did you get to see, and how much red-tape did you have to go through to get the go-ahead for recording while inside?
I actually was only there a couple of hours, which seems to be my limit for museum-viewing. There are 24 buildings, so we only saw a fraction. As far as filming, photography is allowed inside.
Thank you , I loved it 😊
It was fun!
Oh wow that's incredible.
I'd love to go there.
I'd love to visit New York too.
Maybe one day, it's such a big expensive trip from NZ.
Such an incredible display of crystals.
It's a LONG trip from NZ, for sure!
I went to the natural museum of science in Houston once as a little girl & my family rushed me through the mineral & gem rooms. At the time I was upset but I guess they wanted to see the other things too lol
You sure you weren’t in Budapest?😜
Best tip for finding rocks?
Go somewhere where there are rocks.
Thanks, James. :D To enter the drawing, comment on this video: ruclips.net/video/A79XlacpJk0/видео.html
Oh I can give you a tip bring plenty of backpack space or a heavy canvas bag to carry those heavy chunky beautiful fines in

Thought maybe you’d go herkimer diamond mines. Lol but the museum of natural history is always a great choice.
I'd love to go there, GG. Maybe next time, and you can guide me? :D

Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 Katie just wanted to say all the rocks you showed me are great who would of known there are so many beautiful rocks. Well now I guess you will have to go to Archeological school 🏫 and get a 2nd degree under your belt. I think you would be good at it you be kinda a female Bill Ney the Science lady 👩 you could be teaching people about all the cool rocks of the world 🌎
LOL, I have a lot more learning to do before that can happen! Good thing I love to learn...
@@KatyDidRocks even if didn't get a degree you could maybe learn more than you know now really dazzle everyone even more than you do now. Otherwise I think your already good.
