First, watching you throw the cup was mesmerizing. It's always been something I've been dying to try and it's fun seeing the process. The carving and tree addition make it so unique, what a cool vision for a vessel. Of course the cab puts it right over the top for maximum awesomeness. Second, who doesn't love an art and rock marriage that you can drink coffee out of?! Three of my most favorite things!!! Thanks for bringing us along on this great challenge, cheers!

Hi Kate 👋. I really enjoyed watching you create this mug, and combining your two loves together. That is awesome. The mugs are truly one of a kind creations, and it is so cool that you found the stones yourself.

got home after midnight, just watching this! I love pottery ! what a cool way to incorporate the cab into a piece ! and the Tree ! kinda hit my fancy with that, every hound out there should be drinking morning brew from these, what an inspiration to get out and hunt ! and you came out with so many designs, the sun is super cool to! you really got the clay thin and tall, I never got to that level and haven't had the chance since high school 25 years ago ,lol, very nice combo and a useful daily thing also. well done my friend !

Thank you, Nate! It took me much practice to be able to throw - but as I say, centering is the hardest for me. A life metaphor? Perhaps! :D Peace, my friend.

Those are GREAT Kate! You could always build an in-ground kiln somewhere in your yard. That's what Mary Borgstrom did. She was a potter from western Alberta who did it all, went around Canada finding different kinds of clays, making her own glazes, built her own kiln in her yard. She made beautiful things like you - only without rocks added. You are so talented.
