    Beryl was my grandmother. The village has changed so much since this was filmed, more houses and cars and most of the businesses are gone. Crowns still going though

      I'll bet not many of those houses are lived in by locals, I wonder if the pub is still there, so many closed and turned into private houses now.

      @@Taz6688 there used to be three pubs and a working men’s club. Now there’s one pub ( the crown) and the club is on its last legs. But it’s still mostly locals and people from surrounding villages, there’s definitely more new people than there was though

    Lovely 'Ampshire 'Og. I lived on a farm down the road in Awbridge.
