Another great walk Dave and the closest you've come to our old stomping ground. My wife was born in a house called Roman Way which faced onto that Roman Rd you walked, ( just a few miles further west). Great escapism. Thankyou
Nice walk indeed. Could i make a little suggestion? The little villages of Goodworth Clatford and Upper Clatford just south of Andover. Beautiful scenery,3 pubs including one that took a direct hit from a doodlebug during the war, disused railway line with remnants of the old station too. Its one of our favorite walks in our local area.
Thanks Dave, just moved to this area, so this was v helpful for route planning! Managed to devise my own circular route using the western side of your route as the eastern side of mine :)
Hello Dave. Only just come across your channel and how wonderful. I looked through the list of titles and realized they were very familiar to me. I’ve lived in Hampshire most of my life, so know the places you are walking. I believe I’ve seen you with Richard Vobes occasionally, but hadn’t realized that until we began watching. This was the first of your videos we watched, but then went on to watch 3 more. I’ve lived all over the county, from Romsey in the west to the Meons in the east. On two occasions I crossed over the border into Wiltshire, but only by a few hundred yards. Also lived near Andover and Winchester and Lymington, so I’m looking forward to seeing many more of your excellent videos . Many thanks for your efforts and to bringing all those memories alive.
Thanks Lionel and welcome to the channel! I plan to do many more "Walks in Hampshire" during 2021 so I hope that you get to enjoy them. Thank you for watching.
Nice walk Dave, I can remember doing part of that walk at Horse Bridge many years ago with some friends and we had continuous heavy rain. Must do it again in the sort of weather you had. Thanks.
Lovely! Lovely! Lovely!😊
Thank you Dave and Logan!
Thank you Susan.
Great walk Dave as always. Light refreshment at the pub.... those were days!
Thanks Mike. Mr M lived in the village & knows The Crown Inn very well!
I remember him living there. I expect he was responsible for most of their profits.
Great stuff, Dave. Thank you !!!
Thank you Andy :)

My family hails from this area, and married in (or around) the church sometime in 1743. Great to see the area, as I'm a long way from it!
Great that you have a family connection with the area Patrick. Thanks for watching.
