Well I would say Happy Halloween if I managed to get this out in time. But whatever this is Undertale Analog Horror. It should be noted that I didn't really tie in Deltarune to this other than a few small things. I wanted to keep this as faithful to the original game as possible.
Additionally, I put Undertale first and Analog Horror second. I wanted to make sure this is as accurate to the lore as possible and make it feel like it's from the world of the game. Which is also why it isn't very long. Besides there isn't many lines of dialogue describing this so there isn't much to work off of lmao didn't want to add filler.

Happy late Halloween! Couldn't get this out in time due to personal reasons, but I hope you enjoy!
Wanted to put Undertale first and Analog Horror second because I wanted to make this as lore accurate as possible. Which is also why it's so short, you can't really do much with just a couple lines of dialogue from the game and I didn't want to add filler. If enough people enjoy this kind of thing, then I'll do more in the future.

This is actually pretty good for an analog horror of undertale, and its nice to see since not many undertale or deltarune analog horrors exist despite some of the dark lore the games have. Would watch again.

I actually really like this! It doesn't do any cheap jumpscares like other typical analog horrors do nowadays. It's just a corrupted tape hinting at something dark and unusual. You don't even know what it is, but it's not good. That's the beauty of the way Cibles constructed the video. She made it with a knowledge on how analog horror is done right. It's not scary or anything, but it feels slightly unsettling. And obviously, there isn't enough information for you to put your finger on it, but you know that something isn't right. Great job, Cibles. You've done well.

You know, I don't know if knowing about the Genocide Route makes this worse or not.
On one hand, if you didn't know, you'll be left wondering what the angel could do. What sort of horrifying twist would unfold? Human mind is great at conjuring horrors, and will fill in holes with the worst things it can imagine.
On the other hand, knowing about it brings forth an image of a kid in a blue shirt with magenta sprites going around, dusty knife in hand, "making the Underground go empty" one kill at a time, seeking out every monster they can find, sparing no one from the slaughter. Mothers and friends, heroes and stars, fall one by one. Children, vigilantes who've picked the wrong target, and unfortunate bystanders, all fall to the hands of a smiling angel in human skin. Not a savior, but an angel of death, unyielding, unstoppable, leaving a trail of dust in their wake where once was life. Monster, huddling in cover, hiding, as footsteps echo outside. Alphys watching the cameras, trying her damn hardest so save every life she can, watching helplessly as the angel of death fulfills their duty, a whisper of "Determination" echoing at the end of each zone, making her question her sanity.
If only Gerson knew how right he'd been in his attempt to make this joke.

He saw the surface;
He returned;
He *f r e e d* the monsters hundreds or even thousands of times;
I feel like the only thing holding this back is the lack of creepy visuals. other than that this has potential!

im pretty sure when it said "or free as in" and was cut off it was about to say "free as in free from this mortal realm" as gerson or somebody in undertale said that some people rumored the angel to be the "angel of death." It makes sense when you think about asriel as the "angel of hyperdeath"

I don't know if it's already cannon or not
But i am pretty convinced the angel is Asriel, at least in undertale, because of the prophecy in waterfall "the one who has seen the surface" (asriel when he left to take Chara to their village) "they will return" (just like asriel returned in pacifist route) "and the underground will go empty" (probably referring to the moment where Asriel erased everyone's memory and stole their souls).
There is also a possibility that Asriel could be the angel in deltarune as well.
I'm pretty sure he's not at collage, we're supposed to get 7 chapters, and we're also supposed to be seeing him in 7 days.. coincidence?? i think not!!

Defintely needs some work. Would love to see some more images, animated videos, and video effects. It looks kind of bland right now, and feels not super scary.
Nonetheless, it was entertaining and sort of fit the spot of anolog horror, just needs more work.

I think this is a really good representation of what analog horror should be. Not trying too hard to scare people with jump-scares, instead using ambience and curiosity to create a sense of unease.

At first, I thought Undertale would be one of the last things to make an analog horror about. But with lore and stories like Chara’s death, the amalgomates, Gaster, and the genocide run make great setups for the two categories to combine. And the 6 children that died would make up an analog horror.

think about it, "the underground will go empty" is a sentence that only doesn't come true in the neutral route, as pacifist you free them and the underground goes empty, and on geno, the underground is "empty" as in "no more monsters"...

1. The Underground goes empty because everyone died and were set free from that prison to escape to the afterlife
2. The Underground goes empty because everyone left and were set free from that prison to escape to the surface

For best possible case, freedom means monsters finally being able to leave the Underground and to get to the surface. For worst possible case, freedom means monsters being sent to their deaths.

I think “The Angel” is referring to the human you play in Undertale. The definition of “freedom” and the “the underground will go empty” does sound like it’s a stand in for the choice of pacifist and genocide.
In pacifist, the monsters will be free from the underground and leave it, making it empty
In genocide, the monsters will be free, but not in the sense that they escaped alive, but that they are now in the afterlife and free from either mortality or just the underground again. The underground being left empty refers to you killing every monster in it.
I think that’s pretty cool
