It’s also pretty creepy when you think about it, your summoning worms to burrow into the flesh of your enemy, gigantic ones too, as the subject slowly dies from continuous exposure to the worms.
Flukenest is pretty strong but its not that bad since you do have to land the spell imo. Have you tried doing this bossfight with only Grimmchild attacking? I had to eventually equip Lifeblood charms, trying it with 9 health was horror for me (i tried so often i learned to No damage the Hollow Knight even tho it doesnt matter) but i saw you played the "Hell mod" (and modded Nail damage to 1) so you could probably do it.
Flukenest is really hard to land on some bosses, and if you do it right, you're immobilized right next to the boss, so you pretty much have to beat the game legitimately at least once to learn the bosses before you use it. It's also not as bad as shown in this video, because Verulean is somehow overcharmed (soul catcher, soul eater, shaman stone, spell twister, flukenest = 13 notches)

Flukenest + Shaman Stone is OP BTW I don't think it's worth it to combine Soul Catcher with Soul Eater, cause Soul Catcher gives 8 soul per hit and Soul Eater gives 12 soul per hit, and when you combine them you get 14 soul per hit.
