I used yandex picture translate for the conversation in yantar, and it didnt recognize the text sticking out the box, but here is what it said Stalker: I know a lot of interesting things. I would have told you too. But for this (the rest of the text is sticking out the box and the translator didnt detect it sadly) Actor: Well, tell me something. Do you know the way to the North of the Zone? Stalker: I told you i wouldn't tell you anything (im guessing in the text which didnt get translated) and this topic is for me and myself (the text is sticking out again but i guess me and myself only?)
Stalker: Many interesting things I know. I can tell you about them. But for that you need to do some jobs for me. Actor: Well, tell me something. Do you know the way to the North of the Zone? Mega Rostock looks insane, probably some parts used in that clear sky section. Also, its sad that Dead City wasn't used for outside Bar/Wild Territory as the main city center of "Chernobyl" because it looks almost just like that from google maps (even though it was supposed to be based off of "Poliske" which is miles away)
Rostok factory in the early builds was supposed to be filled with bloodsuckers, much like Wild Territory in the final game. This location was reused for a multiplayer map in the final game.
I never knew there was a swamp in early versions of Cordon. The only builds i have played are 1114 and 1935, you and Vandaley are pretty much the main and biggest source of Stalker build content for many people.
At times I'd like some of the old devs to make a video explaining what their rationale was for some of these maps, I mean they changed so much in each build it's insane. It really shows there was a problem in leadership and they were not entirely sure what to do, which makes sense considering the extremely rocky development of all 3 games, but specially SoC. Currently playing Call of Chernobyl (don't like Anomaly) and by the time of typing this STALKER 2 was delayed yet again, lol. Anyways one thing I'm really looking forward in 2 is to see which old maps come back and how they changed, not only graphically, but in vision.

When I first met a Beurer I felt like they didn't really fit in, it was like a early, ugy and not scary version of the controller imo. Maybe thats why it was cut? I cant get over how they just look like a chernobyl mexiacn cleaning lady witha bandit coat

Stalker SKITZO theory its very very far fetched but can the people in the steam game menu thingy you can see right above the play button sorta art i guess but the 2 people in both artwork pieces. they are both freedom members, and what's weird about this you may ask, but i have a theory what if both freedom members were in the lost freedom crew who ventured into the zone. as you can see in the photos they do not have psy protection. also MECHENY GIve me a stalker mod to play i fucking hate anomaly but i only play it and i love SOC and CS and COOP, i love those game because its soo like nostalgic and not hyper realistic soulless ness. what do you guys think about this theory.
