    This is why some chains (such as CVS) now check to ensure customers who purchase gift cards aren't doing so to pay the IRS/tech support/SS/processing fees, while others display notices such as one that reads "GCs are for gifts, not payments".

      @@catemitten5857 Yes, and I always withdraw thousands of dollars from my account, and buy gift cards from Nigeria to purchase them.
