I have the edp and it’s cherry heaven. It however does some magic on my skin on the dry down. Honestly, I cannot differentiate it from the Dior Homme Intense scent on my skin. Body chemistry is a thing.

I just picked up a bottle from tkmax but my edt bottle doesn’t have the black edges looks like the edp

Is the edt anything like ysl lhomme? To me lhomme seems like a lemon almond scent, not sure if almond is actually in the notes though
Hi! I don't get any almond in YSL L'homme and to me they are different. L'homme Ideal EDT has that fantastic Guerlain Almond Note in a wicked blend.
YSL lhomme is that (by now) almost classic lighter and sort of fresher blend with a bit of sweetness in the base. Different. 😊
I think YSL L'homme is a great scent. A classic that almost always works, but L'homme Ideal is just much more exciting and much more different and overall a better scent (to me)👌

Hey what age range would you recommend the edt for. I am 21 years old and own the edp already(love it bye). I was thinking of blind buying the edt but I am scared to get it and smell too mature. What are your thoughts?
Hi! The EDP is one of my fragrances for life for a reason.. Epic scent! The EDT has THAT almond note in focus, but the scent is NOT as sweet as the EDP and instead of cherry it has a bit of brightness to it with a woody side.
There's still a bit of sweetness in it and it still has vanilla in it which together with the almond makes THAT guerlain l'homme ideal scent that is so damn good.
The lack of sweetness might (just to some people) make it a bit more mature, but honestly.. I don't think it's bound to any "mature" age.
The biggest changes are really no cherry and less sweetness + woodiness, but it's still focused on almond + vanilla.
So I would say this: if you LOVE that scent of almond and want a version that is less sweet, without that cherry and more woody and a bit brighter then go for the EDT.
Do not get the edt if you expect something that is as sweet as the edp. 😊
And if you get it.. Own it. 😊Wear it, enjoy it and people will enjoy it on you. And if someone thinks its mature.. Who cares as long as you love the scent. 😉

The one I would also really like to try as well is the Extreme version but it is damn near impossible to find lol. Resellers want you to pay an arm and a leg for it. @@eyeteeoh_5117 Extreme is also VERY nice. Might actually be closer to the edp in terms of sweetness, etc (with the addition of tobacco and a more prominent leather). To me, the Extreme is sweeter than the EDT, which to many people will make it more appealing.
It does have tobacco in it and prominent leather so you really need to enjoy that in a scent 😊 Don't overpay for it though..
@@rottenrebels Hey just wanted to update you and thank you for convincing me to get the edt. I bought a 100ml tester off of fragrance net. It just came in today and I really enjoy it. I will admit it was a blind buy which was risky but it worked out in the end. I was also lucky enough to get a tester that came with a cap which was awesome. I will definitely be wearing this in the coming months. Thanks for the help!

All I smell is in-scents. It’s rare to get the creamy cherry unless there’s a strong breeze that kicks it up. Very disappointed in the edp

I'm very picky with the scent of incense and to me the incense in the EDP is pushed to the back and not at all a prominent part of it.
The cherry , almond and a big dose of sweet vanilla are the most prominent notes of L'homme Ideal EDP.
