I like this kind of review the time and effort as it is hard to compile this. For me Guerlain Ideal EdP opens up very spicy powdery concoction and the earthy grassy feel is from vetiver that's slightly similar Encre Noir sport vibe. The Cherry is nice and modern not cloying or feminine some say it is cough syrup.

This edp is a masterpiece. Its my favorite and no other comes close to it.

I just watched your video while waiting for my package to come with it. Wow! Great fragrance. I sprayed it on wrist 15 minutes ago, was upstairs when wife came home and she asked me what smells so good! I definitely get the grilled cherry, little vanilla, but it reminds me almost like cherry pipe tobacco. Stuff is great!

I actually liked this informal review, presenting it to some "regular people" for their opinion. I have always loved the idea of men's fragrances, some are just fantastic and still allow for the possibility that a Man is still masculine! I got a batch of samplers, and this Guerlain L'homme stood out from the rest. I very very seldom actually spend the sizable bucks to buy a fragrance, but this one nailed it for me. Supposed to arrive tomorrow! As we see, there are MANY reviews for this product here! It must be good!

The performance and longevity are outstanding in winter but weak in summer time...I use it only in winter cold weather.

My absolute favorite so far but It lacks of performance on my skin (solid 4-6 hours) while some say it easily hangs on their skin more than 8 hours lol. Do you have any particular places to apply the fragrance that you want to recommend? It will be so useful for me. Btw, great video man.
Wherever you're going to spray it do it twice or 3 times on each spot that's what I do and I get 7-8 hours! Performance is weak that's for sure so you gotta over-spray to improve it
Layer it on top of some unscented lotion
Try applying some moisturizer (fragrance free) on the spots you will spray the perfume.
This definitely will improve the longevity of the perfume on skin.

On Skin is definitely way better but you know during the time of corona you cannot touch anyone or even ask them to smell your skin 😅
I really love this fragrance, but I'm not sure about the longevity and sillage. I don't want to invest 60€ for a fragrance that lasts only 2 hours.

guerlain lhomme ideal edp is so different in opening and dry down. and people snıff the 3 sprays bıg bang openıng. that was a mıstake. you also snıff people the drydown.

It is a beautiful scent but as you said it has no lasting power. You have to respray every hour maximum.
Sometimes re-spraying is the only solution with such beautiful fragrances
For you got no power. For me lasts almost 10 hours. And i have the edt , that one project much better but it last only 6 hours on me.

I love it but the performance seems lacking unfortunately. How do you think this would work as a signature fragrance? I mean I really think it might work on not too hot summer days in air con rooms. The leathery smell is there for sure in the far dry down but taking the backseat and the cherry note drives the bus 🍒

Be careful with laying any fragrance with Iso e super because it has its own woodsy smell that might make some changes in the smell of fragrance.

It smells like cherry coke cola because the airiness and fizzy. It is a daily scent, not luxury at all 👀. It is only 60-70$, smells fresh and cheap 💁🏻♂️

I never tried this. I always wanted a cherry note in men's fragrance. Have you tried black xs Paco robanne? That has a cherry smell. They reformulated it and the cherry not is very little now. What do you think is a better cherry fragrance between the two? Also brother. I saw your video on pure malt. I see a dot on you're head. I'm assuming you're a Muslim like me. That mark let's me know your pray your Salah. Just to let you know that Islamic scholars say you are allowed to put on cologne even if it's not attached oil-based. But you cannot put it on if the ingredients has drinking alcohol ingredients in it. Such as rum, whiskey etc. I believe pure malt has whiskey in it. So it's best we do not wear these types of scents.
First of all this one is way way better and it definitely has more cherry than Pure Xs! You should give it a try I'm sure you're gonna love it 😉
Second part Yes Al hamdulillah I'm Muslim and to make this part clear for you "Whiskey and Rum and all these alcohol notes in fragrances" are not real, they are accords that means they only have the smell 😉 woody notes and sweet notes are able to give you the Rum accord and smell ❤️

i have oversprayed it and lasted like 8 hours! go heavy on the sprayer and it will give you solid 2 hours projection.

Do you think this could be considered unisex? I also wear things like Montale Red Vetiver, Creed Royal Oud, Geo F Trumper Sandalwood cologne, and I also have Guerlain L'homme Ideal cologne.
There is a hint of leather undertone therefore I wouldn't recommend it to a female but you can try (Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier) also a sweet cherry one 🌹
