BTW, for folks wondering what their original names are... Race Car 1(yellow F1 car) is Mirage, Race Car 2(dark grey Le Mans car) is Downshift, And kid-in-pajamas(light grey rally car) is Dirt Boss.
Dirt Boss' altmode is actually based on a Volkswagen Lupo, a Euro-market supermini hatchback, that's been converted into a rally car. Odd choice for a rally car, but they _did_ do a GTI version, so I guess there's some kinda precedent for racifying one. The only reason it looks like an SUV compared to the other two is because he's pretty badly out-of-scale with them, which...eh, it's Transformers--the designs are made up and the scales don't matter. :P The Fans Hobby version definitely deviates from the source material more than his teammates do; it almost looks like a scaled-down version of _Cybertron_ Red Alert's altmode, which was based on a Dodge Magnum. Mind you, that's an even stranger choice for a rally car _or_ an ambulance, but in a franchise where we've seen police-spec Lamborghinis, well, what can you do?
