The Great Smokies of NC harbor the Scots of old. She spoke to me, an out-lander and well beneath her station, and the future was decided for the next 60 years, until I had to lay her to her rest up high in the Smokies. 60 years of delight and this old Scot expects her to come claim me to join her. Now she is gone and I am alone. Please, girl, come claim me as once you did. I knew her in the mid point of the last century. What shall I do now. I really want to see her again.
