Yeah, most of these cooking channels don’t consume the entirety of what they make. It’s just a dash of discipline and you can still enjoy what you make in a moderated amount :)

I made this cheesecake and it was PERFECT! I was worried it would be very sweet, but it was so well balanced! Huge hit for Easter, everyone had seconds (some even had thirds!) and I'll be making another one for my work. Best cheesecake I've ever eaten! I followed a suggestion down in the comments to add the pan and water into the oven during preheating and it worked perfectly without wasting any energy on heating the water separately, and without risk of burns.

Made this last night and it's AMAZING!!! This is my 2nd cheesecake I made and the first one of course is from Preppy Kitchen. You can't go wrong with his recipes.
I watched a short a few days ago which showed the main steps of this recipe and the end result so I had to find the full video and try and make it. Happy to report it came out exactly like that and it tastes DIVINE❤ will probably be making this again, it’s not only a feat for the eyes but the taste buds too 🤤

I made your turtle cheesecake for my neighbors birthday and she took it to a party of her co workers who are doctors and nurses which she is one of them, One of her doctor friend use to be a chef and said that the cheesecake was the best he has ever had and wanted the recipe. I made this using a brownie bottom once cooled I put the caramel/pecan mixture. Then put on the remaining layers. Turned out beautifully!

When I bake a cheesecake I put the water bath, cold, into the oven before I start preheating. That way I not only save a bit of gas but avoid the risk of pouring hot water onto the cheesecake.
Good tip, I'm going to try it when I make this cheesecake this weekend!

My mom and I used to live in Lincoln Nebraska in the 1980’s and there was a take away place that did Turtle Cheesecake. I thought it was unique to that business as I’d not seen it before or since. It was gorgeous. Then I happened upon this video and I very nearly cried! I need to make this NOW to bring back the memory of those days when I had my lovely mother for company. This is just amazing amazing. Who knew Turtle Cheesecake was a thing everywhere?!? I even know how it got it’s weird mama thanks to you, John. Now I live in beautiful scotland and we still have the problem of not being able to get block cream cheese. We’ve only got cream cheese spread. Can’t even get it from Amazon which is tragic.
