I bought the mate 800 watt about 1 month ago and it is pretty damn durable especially after I crashed it although after about 2 weeks after my crash the rear brakes don’t really work but it’s still a decent scooter and it’s fast for a scooter ti
Just got mine, May 23rd. The right handle bar is very stiff and difficult, and I have trouble getting it to fold in. I have to really ream on it with both hands. The left if fine. Taking out today on its maiden voyage. Update. As of this writing due to rain in the area, I have only rode this unit once. It moves quite well and is well built. Lots of options for the money compared to other ones I have looked at. I thought at first the cruise control would have to be set manually but once you hit the max speed in the mode you're in you'll hear 2 beeps. Let go of the throttle and the cruise automatically clicks in. Nice feature. After my ride, I got up the next morning and went to check the handle bar on the right. The one that was giving me trouble. It as fine. I tried it like 10 times and it works great just like the left one. It only took me seconds to figure out how the problem got solved. The ride did it. Likely hitting a few bumps jarred the unit and put it where it needed to be. Just a bit of stress and it repaired itself. I have not seen anything in the booklet in regards to tire pressure although it is listed on the tires, even with a flashlight I find it hard to see. I am assuming 35 PSI. I can't wait to ride it again. The summers are short.
No, there were a few very small pokes in the box in two places but the scooter is fine. I had great difficulty getting just the right one to open up. I would lift it up and seen a small set screw in there. It is on both handlebars. I thought of maybe turning it, but learned many many years ago to not touch anything I don't know anything about. So last Thursday I took it out for a ride, the first and only one since due to rain here as it is not recommended to be riding in the rain. I got up the next day and went right to the handle bar, tried it and bang, perfect. Works like new. So the ride some how loosened it up. I have been in touch with customer service a few times asking many questions. This feedback I give them helps them make improvements. This scooter offers a lot of functions for the money. I have yet to see one that comes close to this model. @@PoweredwithJohnny
My right bar does the same thing. The left folds just fine but I literally have to use a wrench to grip it closed. The scooter has a few issues, but it's served me well.
@@PoweredwithJohnny No everything was just fine. All I had to do was take it out for one ride and it has been fine since. I guess it just needed to be thumped around with the terrible roads we drive on.

my Valk Fusion 7 arrives in 2 days! Very similar, nearly same, will be doing a review on it compared to my ninebot g30p..No reviews on the Valk Fusion 7 yet!
Ive owned this scooter for about 5 months now, the throttle is completely shot and I always have to manually push and pull the throttle when I wanna go a certain speed. However it is a pretty reliable scooter when I commute to work with my friend in the front and me on the back. At 100% I go about 11 miles before the scooter completely dies.
Yea I think some improvements could be made for sure. It’s not at the bottom of the price scale but I think for the price it could be a little better. Thanks for the feedback. Always good to have for me and others 👍🏼😀
@@Ciscostew I severely doubt this scooter could do 12 miles. I gave this scooter to my siblings only for them to break it in a matter of days after they got it somehow. I have now long moved on to a vehicle. Lol

Excellent review, very informative. Same thing as the iScooter iX3... *** Update, I bought this after seeing the review. $509 on sale Amazon. Mine came with tires that you can adjust air pressure. I'm very impressed with the scooter overall for a basic entry-level scoot. I would like more speed, and looking into the speed limiter hack. Your review was very accurate.
@@PoweredwithJohnny cool, they have an updated version. The suspension is different and it has pneumatic tires. I will consider getting it.. currently $599 with $30 off coupon code.
Hey brother. Ended up getting this scooter. Loving it so far. Whats the normal running temperature and whats the highest it can go ? Just asking to be preventive.
The temp will depend where you are riding it? Is it hot or cool or…? Plus lots of hills and always wide open will make it work harder and heat the motor and batt quicker. The heat sinks should take care of that. The biggest thing is to not get home after a ride when it’s still hot and plug it in to charge. Let it cool down for at least a hour then charge it back up.
@@PoweredwithJohnny oh me too im 5’10 this should be a good fit. I been looking for a scooter thats not to big/bulky but not small like those 8 inch tire 15mph scooters. This seems like the perfect size I’m looking for quick trips around the block👍 thank you brotha.
@OGkush69x may wanna consider the HIBoY pro … so much smoother ride with pneumatic tires. Little more expensive but is on sale… limited time see here amzn.to/49W3NpW
@@PoweredwithJohnnyhey i found this exact same scooter but with “air tires” as you suggested. Its the iScooter ix3. They are the same just diff tires. So would you say tubeless air tires are worth it ? Im just scared cause i heard its expensive and a pain to be changing flats all the time.
@OGkush69x I know this, my hi boy pro with dual motors has tubeless air tires. Because of the single swing are I can fix a flat quick. Like an easier than a dirt bike. I have only gotten two leaks but my fault for where I rode. I like the adjustable air pressure my self, as the Mate scooter having hard rubber tires is like a vibration ride the whole time. It’s just not enjoyable unless you are on a nice smooth side walk the whole time. My kids didn’t care as much but as an adult I’m like, ok after 10 mins I’m done. I would get the x3 myself. You can always add sealers and more.
I bought this scooter 4 weeks ago. I don’t know if it’s normal or not but when I charge my scooter up to 100% and I use turbo mode the battery percentage goes down quick. I would say down to 93% or 90. Is that normal?
So with any scooter or Ebike when in turbo mode you will burn the battery way faster then in standard or eco. Same with a car if you are driving fast all the time your mpg will be low. Turbo is for fun and jamming around. Just know your battery power will drop much faster

That's my question.
Water resistant….
It’s strange … mine came with an extra tube for I think the wheels? I was so confused because I thought it was tubeless.

Hold brake and press the M button 5 times rapidly then you unlock the speed.
